A 6 or 8" Bazooka Bass tube would fit under the back panel so clean and give it just the right amount of thump to accent the highs and mids.

Or any of the square self contained subs that have a built in amp like a Kicker 46HS10. They are thin to go behind seats, so it wouldn't have been a clearance issue.

I know everyone prolly gonna laugh at me, but as a kid, with all the poster cars like the Lambos and Raris, I always found the 300zx Fairlady was the most beautiful str8 6 car I had ever seen. I still want one really badly, and this series just DOES it for me! Thanks guys!!

No way. Lol. This build definitely needs a single sub setup. Gotta balance out the sound. I’m sure the mids and highs sound great, but they’re going to lack a lot of the lower frequencies that most new music has. A single 10” or 12” will be enough to balance it all out.

Plenty of space to add a shallow subwoofer under the rear seat delete. I think it needs it! Swap the 4ch amp out for a 5 ch one so a bunch of extra wiring doesn’t have to be done and you’ll be set

I highly recommend getting a SMD DD-1 tuner to optimize your amp settings and avoid clipping issues (which will protect the longevity of your speakers).

I was glad to see y'all add some speakers. I wish you would do more with sound systems, especially when modding the 90's cars. I think back to all my Super Street reading and all the custom fiberglass stereo systems and such. We know Throtl can make cars for the track, make some for stuntin' at a car show with the trunk open and stereo bumpin'!

Such a cool car I sadly had to sell mine due to financial reasons and it just being way too much work (rotten sideskirts, missing wiring harnesses etc), but I do miss it, it's such a badass vehicle

you can use the onboard map as a barometric sensor in case you cared to do elevation based compensation tables. STFT should catch it though

This is crazy, I remember being in high school and this was like my dream car, and one of the guys who worked at a local auto shop in town had the V6 with some turbos on it. I think this biuld is going to be even crazier

Quinn you're a bad ass mechanic. Remind me of me when I was young only with 10x the skill. Quinn please forgive me if this sounds rude but I saw a dermatologist when I was young and they helped me tremendously with my acne. I wish I had done it sooner because it could have prevented some significant scarring. I only share in hopes it can help. They have great treatments for acne these days and it could save potential scars in the future. Regardless keep doing what you're doing in the shop! 💪

That's a hard car to beat when it comes to aerodynamics and handling, the only thing I never liked about the car was the 150mph limit of the transmission on the V6

Hey family this is such an epic build. I have one suggestion/ favor to ask. Swap out that amp for a 5 channel and please add a sub even if its an 8”. It needs that small level of thump to get it right where it needs to be.

Not going to lie, a little disappointed with the speaker set up. Could have put 6.5" or 8" subs in the rear instead of the component set. No need for tweeters back there, it just washing out all the mid and what little bass they provide especially if not tuned right. The install itself looks good at least.
