The plaintiffs, a husband and wife, own a custom blinds business. The defendants hired them to install blinds in their house, but they are still waiting for the full amount they’re owed, so they’re suing. The defendants argue the plaintiffs did a terrible job and damaged their house. They’re countersuing for damages.

I knew she was a Karen as soon as it was mentioned that she was countersuing because a worker dared to swear in her home. Hate for her to ever having to work with me, I very rarely swear, but my first job out of school was in a warehouse with a lot of women who swore so much they would put their wharfie husbands to shame.

yup , u cannot make a decent profit doing business with friends because they will always expect a much much lower price for the same labor and expense that normally makes you a decent living . u will go broke if your customers are also your friends .

I can't believe the defendant thought "no communication" would solve her problems - this avoidance just made things worse. And bringing up in a court case that the "F" word was used - while unprofessional - it can't be the first time she's heard a curse word. The plaintiffs seemed like they were trying to do the right thing, even though they admitted to measuring wrong.

It's brand new paint, of course you can patch paint, as the paint hasn't changed color for UV yet. BTW, I just spent hours today painting rooms. I can easily go back and patch paint because the paint is new, and when repairing old walls, sometimes we paint, see what shows up that doesn't look great, fix that issue, then paint the patch.

My friends had a home built & as far as paint matching, the builders had the paint contractor leave cans of touch-up paint in case the walls get scuffed while moving in. The paint cans also have the the formula/brand that was used. 🙄

Matching paint color is half the battle. You also need to have the right sheen and the right brush or roller as the original otherwise even if you have the same paint color if you try to touch up one area it will stand out.

i RUN AN APARTMENT BUILDING AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH HOLES ALL THE TIME. wHEN THEY COLOR MATCH THEY ALSO MATCH THE SHEEN. (opps caps lock) And having the same paintbrush is not neccesary. You obviously have never painted shit in your life.

It's easy to match paint. Take off a little square, bring it in to Home Depot or Lowes and have them match it. Easy Peasy

Having mixed paint at True Value Hardware in high school and even now at Ace Hardware, there is no such thing as not being able to match a color today. Sample is scanned by a laser and matched exactly from a computer database of thousands of colors...lol P.S. I'm 59, so I damn sure know about mixing paint or any other Home issues.

The defendant knew that ignoring the plaintiffs for 7 months and not paying her remaining bill was not going to avoid any hard feelings in fact it would do just the opposite, I think the defendant was merely trying to get out of paying her bill and she was using the couple of imperfections to do that not only that but she didn't give them a chance to rectify those couple of imperfections. Here's an idea how about you don't purchase or order something that you can't afford.
