Ganz ehrlich.... das ist mitunter der schönste ausbau den ich kenne... Es gibt noch diesen Irischen oder britischen Pferdetransporter den ich vor einem Jahr oder so gesehen habe, aber der teilt sich jetzt den 1. Platz. alleine die Fahrerkabine ist so schön mit den Holzeinsätzen. Wirklich tolle und unbezahlbare Arbeit

Fire truck doing its job - soaking people. Ha, ha, ha! Good photoshopped image! 3:05 - Love those original doors! This opens up the inside so well. And of course the lovely shiny apple red color of the truck! Excellent job!! like the fine lines of this truck, something elegant about it, not crude. You did a huge amount of work to get it to this point, bravo! Thank you for sharing, Vielen Dank!

As the proud owner of a converted ambulance, I look at quite a few videos of this kind on youtube. Yours is one of the best conversions I have seen. Congratulations on a very nice piece of work.

+Steampunk Artwork Dude, your crazy & I LOVE IT!!! You thought outside the box on this, it's great & your work is well thought out. I loved it all but some things jumped off the screen at me like the electric actuator locks on the doors to keep it secure at the push of a button, the tool pouch on the driver's door panel, the nice neat wiring job on the sound system stereo & many other things. The biggest thing is the vehicle itself, a antique fire truck, seeing I'm in the United States we don't see that style vehicle ever, but you turned it into a camper & I read a comment saying you did it for $2000........AWESOME!!!!

Super Ausbau, sehr gelungen. Besonders die Farbabstimmung des Innenausbaus gefällt mir. Ich habe gerade ein sehr ähnliches Projekt angefangen, aber mein LF ist erst von 1987 (ist jetzt historisch;-)). Aber die Gasflasche vor dem linken Hinterrad darf auf keinen Fall liegen! Sie muss stehen! Egal ob angeschlossen oder nicht, so funktioniert das Überdruckventil nicht. Explosionsgefahr!!!

Das stimmt so nicht ganz. Zumindest ist es zulässig, die Flaschen liegend zu transportieren, wenn die Be-/Entlüftung gegeben ist.

Wie ist denn das mit der Stehhöhe? Der hat vermutlich so um die 160cm höhe, kommt man damit klar oder kriegt man da rückenschmerzen? :D

RyanDunn1987 ich bin nicht der Besitzer dieses Fahrzeugs aber grundsätzlich geht das schon klar. Die meisten Camper Wohnmobile a la t2, t3, t4 usw. haben auch keine Stehhöhe, schließlich findet das Leben beim campen draußen statt. Kochen kannst du auch sitzend drinnen und aber auch stehend/sitzend draußen. Ansonsten nutzt du das Fahrzeug hauptsächlich dazu deine Sachen zu transportieren, die man im Campingurlaub braucht, um überhaupt an den Ort zu gelangen und um darum zu schlafen. Es gibt auch viele weltreisefahrzeuge auf Basis eines Land Rover Defenders, eines Toyota Land Cruiser oder einer G-Klasse. Darin kann man auch nicht stehen.

This American LOVES what you did. Curious as to how much total you spent on it. Wanting to do something similar, but not sure if I should buy a fire truck or an ambulance.

I used only old parts from fleamarkets, so total costs of interior were about 2.000 $

Darf ich fragen, wie du gedämmt hast? Ich habe eine ähnliche Feuerwehr gekauft und bin nun ein wenig ratlos weil der Großteil meiner Seitenfläche Türen und nicht Wände sind :/ sollte ich dann einfach bloß das Dach dämmen? Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen, dein Projekt sieht so gelungen aus 😊

Of course i did not splash the old lady. I "photoshoped" the Lady into the picture. The picture of the old Lady i took when she was crossing a street in New York... ;)

He didn't show how we insulated the fire truck in coming from Germany I would think you would have to insulate it if you want to use it during the and 3 seasons other than summer

mit dem alten 3er Führerschein kann man bis 7.5t fashren, also auch den hier.

Uncool splashing the old lady... funny, but uncool. I love the interior, but am surprised you left the exterior, considering how hard that awesome interior must have been. What was total cost? About how many hours of work? How hard was it to remove the partitions and how were they attached, welded, bolted, riveted (all of the American fire trucks I have looked into, looked like all dividers were welded in, not a task I wanted to tackle)? Thanks for the video.

The picture of the old Lady i took when she was crossing a street in New York... ;) yes, all dividers were welded in, so it was not so easy to remove them. Did not count the hours, but whole project was done during 4 month.
