It's time to revamp the way we shoot car reviews. Thanks to our friends at ‪@MotoCrane‬, Brandon won't have to hang out of the back of a minivan anymore.

I don't think it stays on the car all the time, it gets taken apart and put back in the boxes when a shoot is over. If i'm wrong though and it does stay on the car, i hope they get a garage for it at least. Something like that just sitting in a parking lot all the time i would think would entice a thief or vandal to target the car.

@@VMYeahVN I think the crane (without camera) stays on that car kinda “permanently” because it's such a pain in the rear-end to put all those things on every time. It's his old Model S, not the Plaid for your concerns. I guess they'll park it somewhere indoors at the studio to prevent weather damages

Motocrane’s are the best. I remember when they first did their preorder launch years ago. I was so impressed that someone was building a “cheap” camera car. I was also skeptical and didn’t buy one when it was only like $8000. Now look at them. They’re killing it. Basically puts Pursuit out of business for most things.

YUP safetry should be the number one concern when taking photos. Just thinking about all those selfies being taken, whereby the person fall off the cliff or building or out of a car. The car crane is for the action shots outside and the robot arm (found in the studio) is for the motion shots taken inside a building. Nice potential newer creative options combining the two for projects, such as time lapse photography.
