When people ask me if I'm "Really working" I just say the same thing. "No." Because despite looking like I am doing nothing by standing behind the register and "looking bored", I'm actually making myself available and visible to customers. They know which register to go to, and I can direct others where to go. Same for someone trying to make sure the live stream goes well. It doesn't look like work, but it is really important.
