*Life hack* you can shove the bottom of the pepper down in the center of the pepper after cutting it to prevent spillage from the bottom

Stuffed peppers with rice and mince. Cook rice and mix with raw mince and seasoning of your choice. Cut only top of peppers or cut lengthwise fillets it with rice mixture and put them in baking tray with little water, cover them up and bake for around 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with sour cream

Just turn the can over and use the can opener to cut a little of lid making a hole in the bottom. That allows the air to get in disrupting the vacuum of the beans. It will slide right out.

I use my kitchen scissors for everything. Cutting chicken wings, green onions, mushrooms, peppers, cutting foods for toddlers like French toast…. It’s super helpful. Aaron you will like it.

Chorizo has so many ways to v use. I have used peeled and cubed potatoes. Sautéed them with onions and added chorizo. Yum! For sure a quick breakfast or v dinner idea.

Love this video so much! I wish we had dollar stores like this in Canada! We have dollar stores but they don’t have freezer/fridge sections or fresh items. So no dairy products, meats, produce, bakery items, etc. With the grocery prices in Canada right now stuff like this would be so helpful! Thank you for another awesome video!

I have saved a ton of money recently going to Trader Joes/ Aldi's. You should do a grocery haul at which ever one you guys have there.

One of our favorite Dollar Tree meals use to be sauerkraut with sausage and corn bread.

My favorite cheaper meal is a green bean/chicken casserole. So like you would make green bean casserole (canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup & French’s fried onions) But in my family we add canned chicken and white rice, salt, pepper, garlic powder (whatever seasonings you like) It’s soooo yummy. Top with more fried onions and you can use shredded cheese too

I love chorizo! I add it to my fried potatoes, then when it’s all cooked with my potatoes, I add some eggs I that I scramble in a bowl. Add it to the potatoes cook until the eggs are done. Warm some flour tortillas and make burritos. So good!

Take the chorizo and eggs together, ( I use a dozen eggs) cook hash browns, then add everything together. Then wrap it in a flour tortillas, breakfast burritos yum. And some salsa and sour cream, guacamole.

For cans with thick contents like that the easiest way to get it out is open the top and than when you flip it over crack the bottom of the can with a can ooener... that little slit is enough air the suction lets loose and it slides right out

I've made a personal pan pizza with cheese pepperoni and veggies all from the dollar tree store. You have to get the peppers and onions I can't remember if It had anything else but I don't know it is peppers and onions. My aunt is kinda picky and she loved it. It was so good you basically just let everything melt since the pizza dough is already done. You must try it and add whatever toppings you want. So good

Our cheap meal is Mexican casserole You get a casserole dish put Mexican rice on the bottom Fritos chili (no beans) then cheese put it on the oven to let the cheese melt because everything else’s is hot

Everything looked amazing...I actually shop at family dollar and dollar tree ,for certain things...Swanson can chicken...for each can of chicken use 1/8cup of grated parmesan,1/2cup of shredded mozzarella or cheddar..cheese and 1egg...mix ,roll in Italian bread crumbs..and bake approx 10minutes each side..on 375.. amazing chicken sandwich ,can eat on a bun, or bagel I like the everything bagels omg..add lettuce , tomatoes,and mayo or ranch dressing...

There are so many excellent "poor man's" or "left-over's" dishes. Like soup, pie, stew, casserole, stuffed omelette or tortilla and pizza. Well done on this first attempt. Would be nice to know what the costs are vs "normal". Tips: cut the bellpepper lengthwise for an easier fill; bake/grill and presentation. : don't serve too spicy or seasoned chips with it; which might spoil the flavour of the stuffing. Flat bread or rice could do. Keep exploring and creating.

Mix tinned cooked ground beef with gravy to baked beans with Tomato sauce. Into a lasagne dish. Then add cooked dried potato with water scoop onto ground beef and baked been . Add cheese. Cook for 10 to 15 mins in the oven 200.c portion. A very cheap meal. Camping or a quick meal.

You can do discada with chorizo it’s sooooooo good…. Discada is a mix of ham, bacon, chorizo, ground beef, weenies franks, onions, tomatoes, cilantro and jalapeño peppers .. just a bit of salt and pepper if you are feeling more adventures you can add some beer for flavor and more juice ….. it soooo good with a good salsa and guacamole you make yourself discada tacos

I don’t like spicy foods or cooked bell peppers either Bella. My .99 store gets fresh produce on Tuesday. When I go I try and get as many items I would get at the normal store that they carry. I get bananas, flour and bread tins at Christmas to make banana bread for gifts. Always lettuces and veggies to make salads or bacon and eggs for breakfast. Sometimes mine even has ground beef. If your on a budget start their first with your grocery list.

I'm in Canada, but I have never once in my entire life. Seen a dollar store with so much stuff in it. You can literally go grocery shopping there I literally cannot believe you can buy greens,Vegetables ,fruit, meat , liquids everything like that in your dollar store. Dollar stores in Canada. You get rice some canned goods. Maybe cereal,pop/juice that's about it for food other than junk food( Candy and chocolate) Also our dollar stores go all the up to 5.75$ now. With nothing that good other then Towels shampoo soap hair supplies some kids toys, books, kitchen stuff, some pet suplies, Holiday things ..... And that is it.

I just know it smelled SO GOOD in there!😋

what I recommend you do to get the refried beans out of the can better is by take a kitchen knife and poke 2-3 holes at the bottom of the can. then flip it over with a couple of shakes its out.

Next time just mix the regular meat and veggies in with the chorizo from the beginning to season it all together. Also, Ive always had rice in my stuffed peppers so this is a fun variation…
