I’m Native American lol First Nations Cree and we’re told that you can’t say wendigo or any other creatures during any season other than winter cause we believe that in winter all of the creatures are frozen and can’t get you lmao Edit: what I mean by you can’t say wendigo or any other creature is because your calling them towards you lol

Aren't Wendigos all about the cold and frozen north? After all, the tribes that these legends come from are in the most north parts of the US and Canada, they are known to be cold. I feel like winter would be the WORST time to call their name. Though I suppose it depends on the tribe. I'm 1/4 Pueblo, but I've done quite a bit of research though. It's just that every Wendigo legend I've heard revolves around a frozen winter, and people running out of food and resorting to cannibalism. I'm a huge horror junkie and love learning about anything supernatural, urban legends from all sorts of cultures.

The insight of Rami's character being mistreated for his schizophrenia and not being able to be saved in the game just made me appreciate Until Dawn and Rami as an actor even more

You should definitely do a more “original” wendigo. The movie Antlers is supposedly based of the Wendigo lore and I think it would be awesome to see a like real gorey take on it. Considering they were once men who went crazy and became cannibals and thus Wendigos were born. That’s how I’ve always learned it to be

i immediately knew jess was dead even though they saved her in her first half b/c they didn't save her the last time. they didn't know what would kill her the last time, they also didnt take into consideration that jess is exhausted she wouldn't be able to move to easily considering she was one of the more injured of the bunch.

VAGUE SPOILER: why the doctor is important is hes symbolic of a CERTAIN SOMEONE going off their meds and slowly losing their grip on reality. It is suggested in some documents you can find (with the right choices) that they are actually schizophrenic among other things. So the doctor is a hallucination in their mind that worsens with the characters slowly degrading mental status. And is based on a real living doctor who originally diagnosed and tried to help them.

You can also SAVE Josh btw You have to look through all pages in the journal (Hannah's diary) and he will be saved. This is LITERALLY THE ONLY WAY he can be saved. Emily is like the only character people sought out to actually kill. She was by no means popular I'm impressed she was saved. And Jessica is literally the hardest to save. So props to for getting that far because she can die in the beginning easily. But yeah, saving Josh is only associated with all the pages in Hannah's diary.

I got to the point where chris was trying to save josh and then was running from the wendigo but then Ashley didn't open to door for chris because when I had the choice between him or her, I chose her and she was mad about it. I was so mad especially after all that fear that I went through and keeping him alive until she killed him lol

I feel like the doctor is one of two things: 1. He’s the doctor who is treating Josh who is trying to deal with the trauma of his missing sisters and we’re getting flashbacks of previous sessions. 2. He’s a representation of Josh’s mental health and as the game continues and things get worse you see the room that the doctor is in begin to deteriorate, which to me indicates that Josh’s grip on reality or on his control are fading. The second option is the one I lean towards.

if Sam isn’t caught by the maniac u can end up exploring a room where u can find clues that josh is the maniac as well as texts between Josh and Dr. Hill who is Josh’s psychiatrist. u can also find out that Josh is off his meds.

I think that he is a mix of the 2. I think that is the doctor who was treating Josh but the reason that the room is deteriorating is because is a flashback that reflects Josh mental state that is also deteriorating since he is not taking his pills. If you go around in the house you find medical reports that confirm that Josh had schizophrenia and the list of medicine that they tried with him and the fact that he denied taking the pills
