I've been unsuccessfully working on trying to turn out my skinny tube for belt loops for hours, eventually having to cut out and sew a new piece because I eventually ruined it while trying different methods. It looks a LOT easier than it is to actually do. I ripped the crap out of the one end of my tube (¼" wide, plus ⅛" seam allowance). And my tube is only 4" long.
