Hi Colwin I have watched youtube untill I am blue in the face following a number of turners including yourself and I have to say this is the best most informative well explained and expertly presented video I have ever seen. If ever their ( there ) is a go to video on learn to turn a wood bowl you have just made it. Thankyou

Realised having the right tools for the job could make a big difference. Just ordered a new set of bowl gouges, which I was lacking. Loved the demonstration Colwin, now look forward to my second attempt at bowl turning. Many thanks.

Hi Colwin, missed your live show... My question is.......To what angle do you grind your Colwin Way Skews?

Hi Adrian, the following reply is from Colwin - "They are ground to 25 degrees to start with, but as you start to feel at home with the Skew you can start to bring it back a bit to a sharper angle."

No experience of bowl cutting started a small bowl today. Caught two or three times pretty scary. Hoping your demonstration will help. Are you riding the bevel as you cut?

Hi Paul, the following reply is from Colwin - "Yes, always ride the bevel. Start on small bowls until you get use to it and never have the flute facing upright, flute direct should be away from the bowl at either 10 or 2 o'clock."
