Just recreated this look using the Jaclyn Hill palette (I thought that this tutorial used it) Transition: mix silk creme & MFEO Inner corner: Jada Outer corner: royalty & on top chip In the middle: Queen For that orange-y shade: mix hunts & jacz Try it, it looks practically the same as this tutorial!!

okay so i know jaclyn gets comments like this everyday all day & there is a 99.9% chance she will not see this but who cares hahah. so i struggle w depression, anxiety, & self harm and everytime im having a meltdown or i really want to cut, i watch a couple of jaclyn's videos & she always makes me genuinely happy. i recently started watching this month but that is a whole month that i have not cut. jaclyn is helping me to recover & no one has ever been able to do that in all my 3 years of self harm so i cannot thank you enough. also ever since i was super little i wanted to do cosmetology/makeup when im older as a career & i want to be just like you hahah. i love you so much jaclyn. please try to get this comment to the top guys, it would mean the world to me:)

Reach out to someone you can trust.Try to get in touch with a crisis team in your area, usually they have one that works with your area hospital. Even if it means going to the ER. You definitely Can get through this!! Never give up and I will be praying for you..I am not trying to be pushy but I am a Christian and the Lord Jesus Christ has saved my life and can do the same for you too, maybe there's a Bible believing Christian Church in your area that you can attend !! Dawn2Dusk23 because a lot of looks are too dramatic on the eye if not balanced out by false lashes. you def have to modify a look for big lashes vs natural, so we wanna see glam looks that are wearable w our natural lashes too

🦄 I love this look! I know that you're insanely busy and that you try to answer as many tweets, comments, etc that you can but I wanted you to know how important your videos have been to me especially as of late. My husband has recently suffered a serious head injury due to a seizure and has been in intensive care for almost a week. These have been the most challenging days of my life and sometimes a positive attitude is hard to keep up..but watching your videos helps to keep my mind occupied during long restless hospital hours and times of needing a positive distraction. I love you and thank you, Jaclyn ❤ Ps - to anyone who may be reading this, could I ask you to please send out whatever prayers or positive energy or whatever it is that you personally believe in for sending out your best intentions of healing for my husband? I believe in the kindness of strangers and would appreciate it greatly. I love how passionate you are about makeup and how you turned your passion into your career!! Working full time I don't want to sound ungrateful because I'm fortunate for having a job with many benefits and good pay but doing the same thing every day dealing with customer service can be a huge drag sometimes and stressful. I've dealt with depression off and on throughout my life and I've tried so many things to get through it, like playing guitar, painting, exercise, etc but playing around with makeup and making videos has been such a great stress reliever and you were a huge motivator for me starting me channel. Thank you for putting yourself out there and being such a positive role model for myself and others out there!! 💕

I am in the same boat with you!! I work in sales and have to do so customer service as well and I hate it so much. A lot of people tell me to just find a new job but its not easy for me. I go to school as well and this is the only job that can help me with full time pay and benefits and works with my school schedule. My passion is makeup so I started my makeup channel but I need to grow it because I love it so much and I want to be able to film makeup to keep myself happy!

I totally wore this look to work tonight (my coworkers think it's a little funny that I get all glammed up for hospital work, but I just say that I want them to have something nice to look at between my bouffant hat and mask :) ). . . I didn't have any turquoise though, but instead substituted some old Belle Azure MAC eyeshadow that I've had forever. I have mostly MAC eyeshadows right now, and pretty much wore barely any makeup for several years when my three kiddos were little. . . you know, barely had time to even rinse the sweat off and all that stuff. But I've always loved makeup and I'm really enjoying trying out new products and spending a little more time on me. Jaclyn, I love watching your videos. . . I know that anyone can present any personality on video, but seriously, I could totally imagine kicking back a cold one with you! You are hysterical!

Whitney Smith when I was in Middle school none of the women teachers wore makeup 😩 the only one I remember was my PE teacher who was also my volleyball coach, I remember her putting on her eyebrows after practice (which was at 6am)

Girl, I am currently a PE teacher and I wear winged liner and mostly glam full coverage on the daily. Do you and NEVER give a damn what those kids think about your style! Kids will always judge-secretly they will wish their liner was a sharp and their glam was as bold!

I keep thinking you should do a series for your subscribers where its a makeup session. You do their makeup, with their own products, and show them how to make it work with what they have. it would a) be a thank you to your ride or die viewers b) would give us a different perspective and tips for our own look (more mature skin, larger eyes, smaller lips, everyday makeup for those of us who dont wear a full beat, etc) and c) help give you a creative boost. keep it up, girl! your success is inspiring!

Doing a neutral look for me is pretty easy, I do them everyday I honestly don't even have to think about it anymore. Just grab a palette and boom done, but its incorporating colour into my eye makeup that gives me a hard time. i.e complementary colours, what do I use as transition shades, etc. So I really appreciate when you and other youtubers that I follow create more colourful looks because I alway come back to the channel and watch them, they're also the ones that I'm more likely to click on first. You've done a Bold Blue eye look in the past and honestly I always click back to that video for inspiration, hopefully we'll be seeing more colourful looks in the future (a purple one perhaps?) Thanks for always inspiring me!
