Really great work done by you all. In many videos i could see rescuers struggling to cut with a knife but here they have used a cutter like instrument hope the turtles too don't have risk of getting hurt. Good souls... may God bless you all 😊.

If you don't want to hurt any kind of marine animal, you can boycott fish, then no marine animal will ever be entangled in a fishing net. If you don't want to hurt any kind of animal, you can boycott the corpses we call meat.

Oh my gosh. I couldn't believe what i watched. 3 turtles and 1 bird at same time. Thank you guys. You guys did awesome jobs. Even bird and 3rd turtle were not 100% allright but they got the 2nd chance. 👏👏👏

We keep an athletic tape cutter on our boats for just this type of thing. It works really well for small rope or nets that cut into the turtles. Much easier than trying to use a knife blade in rolling seas. We've used it on perhaps three dozen turtles off the FL east coast.

Thanks you guys are heros! Do a crowdfund, do this fulltime, because with al this shit in the oceans you will have a full time job saving those animals. One time in my life i payed for the ocean clean up crowdfund, but this one i and a lot of people would also pay for for sure! You made my day ( is the turtle thinking ) :p

In Hawaiian culture sea turtles are respected and some families have them as their Aumakua (family guardian). We call the sea turtles “Honu”.

It's what we all want to know regarding rescues like this ....did you take the refuse and old fishing nets away with you, and yes you did! So satisfying to know, as I've seen videos of stuff being thrown back in the sea. Great video, and great work ...😁

Oh My God. There was still line wrapped tight around His fin & cutting right through it. Wish You could have just brought them all on board the boat with the line so You could have had better access & been able to spot it. He's gonna lose His leg & is unlikely to make it with His front fin missing. Thanks for helping them & trying. He definitely needed a Wildlife rescue centre though.
