I could never just drive by seeing a turtle crossing the road without saving it ...blessings to The Rescuer

I did this about 28 years ago. But it was a side road and no traffic. I pulled over and picked it up, putting it in the grass leading to a pond. As I picked it up, I realized it was a snapping turtle. Happily my hands were just out of reach.
