I've since moved on from Turtle WoW and this is just my experience and I'm allowed to have my opinion on my own channel that differs from everyone else. If your experience is better I'm truly happy for you but not everyone's experience is the same. This video did come off mostly negative but there is lots of fun to be had here. It was just jarring expecting a friendly and welcoming community and what I got was a bit...different. I did start at a really bad time apparently so I'm sure that has loads to do with it. I forgot to mention the macro situation as it's another issue. That issue has to be one of the biggest sources of frustration for me personally. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to watch .

For all the players thinking to get into raiding on turtle this msg is for you. It's beyond expensive as of right now to raid in turtle wow. A flask of titan goes for 93g a single mongoose pot goes for 8g 50s and the ONLY way to make gold is to node farm around the world where you have to not only fight other players but chinese gold farmers sadly. They cut ZG croc mage farm out and are planning on cutting DM E lasher farm. So good luck.

The Hardcore pop needs their own server. They can't group with the normies and they overflow most of the lower pop zones due to them always starting over. There is constant competition for MOBS and they jump in front of the normies with little to no regard as to what is fair. Outside of this very large and apparent issue, the server is fun.

I agree 100%. That change alone would improve QoL for users looking to group out in the world. I'm truly baffled as to why they didn't make a HC server instead of a PvP one. I too experienced HC's jumping ahead and think that some,not all use HC as a excuse just to be jerks. Plus I saw some HC's really being cheesy and I really can't take most of the HC challenge players seriously as some will go to great lengths to cheese the game and whine on the forums about losing a character and hoping for a restore .That's so HC LOL.

I disagree. The existence of HC is why the whole world feels populated at all times; they contribute to the world feeling alive. Without them, the early zones feel dead, and everyone stacks up in the endgame-zones, just like we saw in Classic. Furthermore, HC only makes up about 1k-1.2k of the population, so there's still more SC. People just need to be better at grouping up and make queues if there's congestion. The devs have also reduced the spawn timers.

@@PadlockCheeseCake np, you had my like... I concur with all your points, played Turtle from launch to 2022, totalling 4 years, played with friends so I didnt mind 50 players at launch. But all Twow "had" was the community, wich went downhill since it became so populated

Defs need a guild I was invited to a new one early and they are all very cool people Guild is “Family Friends” on the RP server The name is a middle finger to all of the sweats and rude people We have maxed capacity but if you see one of us just ask to join Usually around 100 people online everyday

I dont understand the point of expanding vanilla on the most janky and limited of all the clients. I like all the work they put into the game but the foundation is shaky at best. Not a good look when you gotta download several addons just to make the game halfway playable. I like the server for what it is but its not well thought out imo. I really hope Duskhaven on 3.3.5 client will be a better alternative.

You are so right. You have to download so many "fixes" and addons just to make it not look and run like ass. It runs better for me in linux but still I'm the type that just don't like running many addons. With Twow it's a must. Don't even get me started on the macros! And after all that still runs like arse on modern hardware IMO. I downloaded the 3.3.5 client and jumped on Onyxia and it feels so much better out of the box.

PVP servers ( when they aren't 90-10 like Classic WoW ) are toxic. They were always toxic and that's part of the game. Play a stealth class or use the Pala bubble + HT :,) and you don't have to read World chat, like Merica vs. EU, the wars, opinions on other servers etc. It's possible to chill. And when there's a wall of twinks in low BG's ? you can't have the sweet without the sour.

Oh yeah I'm aware I played on a PvP server from Vanilla through Wrath and there was always a level of toxicity. Turning /World off is a must t's a cesspit. I've joined Alliance and things have gotten better and having a really good time with my rogue and have met some really cool people . I might make a priest and dive into some PvE content (I'm play solo mostly )and just leave my rogue @35 for Alchemy I haven't decided yet. Thanks for watching and for responding.

Hardcores should indeed have had their own server instead. There is like only 1 item from crafting (LHH) that was bis and now is adjusted to be better suited for PvP, while raiding (which you don't want to do) offers items better for raiding, so I don't see your point. Vanilla devs weren't perfect and had a learning curve. Turtle devs fixed ton of end game gear that for example had useless spirit on it and changed it to useful stats like agi. They are also creating alternative sets for each tier for specs like dps warrior, prot paladin, shadow priest etc. Toxicity on a PvP server is not surprising. That's where the gankers that need to boost their ego go, while friendly casual players go on PvE server, where you can do more fair PvP in BGs. Also raiding motivates people to be social and make friends, since you need so many people.

I play on Turtle WoW. The Server is PvE and my ping is 700+. Will they add SEA Servers?

So what's wrong with the pvp? I just hit 40 on twow and was looking forward to grinding some 60 pvp. Should i just give up now? Lol 😢

Are you on the main server? If so r14 is out of reach for you I'm afraid due to the honor boosters/premades. forum.turtle-wow.org/viewtopic.php?t=11554
