Hi Buddy I brought a baby red ear slider 3 days ago. Provided a basking area tried to feed a lot many times. But since 3 days he us not eating a single pellat and keeps on sleeping whole day(if not disturbed). Please suggest something beneficial

Turtles can survive 7 months without food so don’t worry, just be patient and he will get used to eat the petals

Kitne time se vo aapke sath he? Aap uske tank se side me betha kare kabh kabhi use 1shrimp ka tukda ya uski food ki stick de jyada nhi bas 1 bar isse uska dar nikal jaiga and use pata chalega ke aap najdik aane ke bad use feed karte ho ya kuch na kuch khane ko dete ho isse uska dar nikal jaiga and aapke sath bonding hogi.😊👍

No not only pellets. I feed them frozen shrimps, dry shrimps, carrot, apple, coriander. Becose they are big in size so i feed them a big pinch average of 20 pellets or more per turtle. i feed them once a day.

Hope vo Indian species na ho. jese aapne bataya ki vo aapko wild se mila he to use set hone me thoda time lagega to shurwat me vo 3 to 4 days khana nahi khaiga stress me hone ke karan then vo dhire dhire set hone ke bad khaiga lekin aap use daily khana introduce karte rahe and jitna ho sake use bar bar disturb na kare use set hone ko time de agar aabhi vo pallet nahi kha raha to use dry shrimps khilane ko try kare and pallet bhi feed kare agar vo nahi khata he to vo food pani se 15 min bad nikal de and jabhi aap use khana daloge to pallets or shrimps gin ke dale taki aap samaj sake ki vo kha raha he ya nahi and jabhi aap use khana doge to use aakela chode.

Dont keep Indian species inhe ghar me rakhna illigal he isse aapko jail ho sakti he and 1 se 10 lakhs ka fine bharna padega. So its my request to you that release him in wild jaha se aapko vo mila he and get red eared slided turtle which you can keep as a pet. Agar aapko uski detail chahiye to aap videos dekh sakte he on my channel.

Me suggest karunga ke thoda to pani rakhe because jab ham unhe bask karne ke liye sunlight me rakhte he to jo tub ya koi bhi container hota he vo garam ho jata hey unke unke pair jal sakte he.

Agar aap use 2 time khilati ho then 1 time aap jo food khilati ho vo khilana and 1 time ke liye ye commercial food khilana dhire dhire use aadat ho jaigi use samaj aaiga ke ye bhi khana he so patient and keep trying 😊👍

No he will not... keep him in a container in which he will fit properly and have proper space as well make holes on its lid and feed him in the same container (add water only while feeding him )

No Bro red-eared slider turtles are semi-aquatic, meaning they spend a good deal of their time in the water, but also spend a significant amount of time on land basking in the sun

@Soham More brother that tub is large size and they can rome freely in that and the reason off adding less water is unka shell dry hota he over night that decrease the chances of fungal infection and reduces the chances of algae growth on their shell
