Drive up to Omalo, one of the top 10 most dangerous road in world.
Driving up took us 7h, but down was bit faster 4h:D Many rivers drove through and many other things. I hope you will like my video. Also this is my first video, so if you have some ideas to make this video better or for some other my future videos, be free to leave them in comments. Thanks!

I love the video! Reminds me at my travels in the 70s, 80s and 90s in Romania, Türkiye, Bulgaria and in the 70s Austria, Yugoslavia and Switzerland. Those were the days. And the roads. Or the lack of roads.. and I loved it..

I drove a rental Subaru forester in July 2023 up and down. It takes about 4 to 5 hrs to reach Omalo. They have widened the road so incoming traffic is not really a problem. The road is very rocky, it’s first gear 99% of the time unless you want to break a sway bar or strut. I’d say it’s rocks, rocks and rocks and lots of hairpins in latter part. You’ll need an AWD because of ground clearance but 4x4 is not necessary unless in extreme weather. Not really dangerous if you’re focused just demanding 100% attention to driving.

Amazing 🤩 I went this place , in my opinion this part most beautiful in Georgia , all place in Georgia beautiful but Omalo deffrent The Road very dengurse and want say thanks for my friend Mr : David he drive and took me to there , professional person , and unfortunately the Road same situation nothing new , Thanks for your sharing

It was 4 years ago and I’m certain that prices have been changed a lot. I think for now the best way to get to know the price is to ask someone from Georgia or see some tour makers, cuz there you need at least one experienced driver. Good luck!
