This is such excellent work mind blowingly beautiful. Inspired me to visit georgia will be in tbilisi then will head here because of this video. Im considering using the share 4wd taxis from alvani. But I might go full private from alvani. Do you go around asking guest houses for experienced recomended drivers?

Thank you very much! Im glad you've enjoyed the video! I would recommend private transfer because you have more flexibility that way. Just ask people around in Alvani, there are a lot of locals that know the roads. Enjoy!

Fantastic video mate. I am thinking of heading there myself as a solo female traveller. Did you stay the night in dartlo ? Also, did you hike back to omalo or is there a way people might give you a lift? Haha. And from omalo, are there shared taxis back to civilisation or hiring a private car is recommended? Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! Stayed one night in Dartlo, next morning my driver picked me up. Just talk to locals there, Georgians are great people they will help you with a ride! There are shared taxis and locals can also give u a lift. Safe travels! Stay adventurous, stay safe and stay loved!
