but King Tuts coffins were super glued (so much resin was dumped into his coffin) I'm surprised they got it all out. They are missing one key piece of history from the series. Tut had a club foot and required a cane to walk. had he not been so imbread he probably wouldn't have died so young.

That's what I was thinking. Why didn't they have someone who looked like Tut and had his physical challenges. I think he loved his chariots because of the freedom they gave him but sadly he died because of a fall from one.

Just watched TUT for the third time the other night, brilliant, superb mini-series and Avan Jogia did an outstanding job bringing this little known ancient King of Egypt to life. This mini-series although fictional has given TUT a story that is plausible and believable.

Kara, you forget one thing about Akhesenamen, she was old enough to have already married her father and had a daughter by him, long enough for Akhenaten to have built a Sunshade for this daughter by his own daughter, Ankhesenpaaten Tashery. so she was a lot older than a couple years than Tut.
@sorceress_of_craft1036

Also, she was his half-sister. Akhesenamen was Akhenaten and Nefertiti's daughter. DNA proved that Tut's mother was not Nefertiti, but one of Akhenaten's lesser wives.

I never could quite understand why Tutankhamen was so precious,so interesting to Carter to desperately find his hidden tomb. Tutankhamen was an inbred,his father was also his uncle,his mother also his aunt. He had a club foot,hardly a very useful pharaoh. Why couldn't Carter have just left the poor boy alone. How would he have liked it if somebody woke him up after a 3,000 year old rest?.

If you want more information click here www.independent.co.uk/life-style/history/king-tut-died-from-sicklecell-disease-not-malaria-2010531.html Hawass wouldn't let the scientist confirm because sickle cell would strengthen support for Tut being of dark African lineage as Sickle Cell affects blacks far more than other groups.

I have this drama in my Amazon prime also thinking about doing a fanfic for the holidays about a lonely girl who works in a museum in New York and they borrow things from Egypt for an exhibition and she gets finds out her boyfriend is cheating so breaks up and she makes a wish and it involves Tut coming to life in this time and her wish comes true and he appears as a handsome young man so she shows him round New York and helps him adapt to our time and getting him warm modern clothes and when they go for a horse and carriage ride through New York whist the pair talk they share a kiss and Tut offers to help the girl and her mom who are in poverty and she finds a great find that brings her wealth so Tut kept his promise also think it make a good holiday film call it a Christmas king and their be funny bit in it like Tut learning to ice skate getting used to snow and all the tv channels think it be a romantic holiday comedy

When will you Americans realise that there is more than black and white in the world.. How is this actor white? He's Indian actually, but Egyptians are not white, no one ever claimed them to be, but they weren't black Nubians either. Egyptians are different to Nubians, Egypt is on the Mediterranean coastline and just because Egypt is in Africa it doesn't mean it was a black civilisation. Look at how the Nubians were portrayed in art compared to the Egyptians, look at the Nubian mummy compared to the Egyptian mummy's... There's a difference. There were black Nubians present in ancient Egypt but to say ancient Egypt is a black nation and everything is a lie is incorrect.

Catherine Christina Depends on where you come from. In the United States you only need one Great-Grandparent to be African and you're black. This is called the One-Drop rule. It was created to preserve European white lineage but what it creates is this schizophrenic behavior where people are calling Barack Obama a black President although he's 50% European stock and then turning around and saying Tutankhamen was not black and he had virtually no European. Nubians are portrayed in art exactly the same as Egyptians Tomb of Huy teachmiddleeast.lib.uchicago.edu/historical-perspectives/the-question-of-identity/before-islam-overview/images/identity-before-islam-overview-07.jpg Note the variance in Nubian skin representation. Jet Black, Brown and Red which is the way Africans represent different hues. The most unfortunate part of African history is that it's being absolutely misinterpreted by non Africans who don't understand the cultural affinities. They can come in with a scholarly approach but unless you're African you probably will never understand the features and culture like a native or even African in diaspora.

@eythar burhan Actually they had what is called Eurasian(Europe/West Asia) DNA. There was never a geographic boundary between Europe and Asia. For example, the Caucasus region is party Europe and partly Asia according to the map boundaries. So you really can't talk about Europeans without including West Asians. So what you claim is that the Egyptians allowed foreign people to live segregated in Middle Egypt, while the "real Egyptians" lived in Upper and Lower Egypt. Since the so-called Atlanteans were segregated in Middle Egypt, who controlled the river in their section of Egypt? Why is none of that written down? Why have mummies been found with Eurasian DNA in the areas where the so-called "real Egyptians" lived as well? Since the Greeks believed the Atlanteans to be half God and half mortal, were the Europeans of Atlantis white supremacists? SMDH

@@skinsfanh88 He's Caucasian, which is the correct terminology for a human population group that is closely related genetically and physically. The can have pale white to medium brown skin, and hair and eyes of many colors. Yet, they're all closely related. Caucasians are the first modern humans to settle North Africa. The oldest DNA retrieved from all of Africa was from a burial site in Taforalt, Morocco. It was 15,000 years old and the people had Western European and basal Eurasian ancestry. Their settlements go back 25,000 years. King Tut and the Amarna mummies' DNA has been released recently, they were K and R1b haplogroups, both of Eurasian origins.

@@skinsfanh88 I have sources for all of my claims that debunk your claims. I have peer reviewed genetic studies of the actual people. You have a brown statue with exclusive Caucasian features. Long slim aquiline nose with and obvious overbite. Sub-Saharan Africans don't have those features unless they're admixed with Eurasians. There were no genetic evidence of sub-Saharan people in North Africa or Egypt for the first 40,000 years of it's peopling. That one scientific conclusion debunks every claim you've made. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20459715/ "Conclusions: The interpolation analyses and complete sequencing of present mtDNA sub-Saharan lineages observed in North Africa support the genetic impact of recent trans-Saharan migrations, namely the slave trade initiated by the Arab conquest of North Africa in the seventh century. Sub-Saharan people did not leave traces in the North African maternal gene pool for the time of its settlement, some 40,000 years ago." Admit that you're a lying history thief and culture vulture.

You are descended from West African Bantu speakers. They never knew Egypt existed. They never invented a written language or architecture beyond mud, stick, and dung huts. Instead of being the ingrate you are, you should thank Caucasians for writing and researching most of your history for you. You should be careful about biting the hand that feeds you. After all, you're just a recently domesticated primitive.
