Having a home isn't a luxury it is a basic essential of life. Rentier capitalism is toxic capitalism and a law needs to be passed in government to criminalize the practice on basic essential needs, take Martin Shkreli for an example. Consider what happened after WW1 to the German people they had to pay extremely high reparations, inflation collapsed the German mark, no one could pay their mortgages, leases and rents. Foreign wealthy Bankers foreclosed on the properties of their nation and the hardest hit was the civilian population. Foreigners bought their homes for pennies on the mark and used rentier capitalism to further crush the German people. That's all it took for the German people to push back and crush those that oppressed them and go back for a 2nd WW. They would have done it with or without a Hitler. Just wait till the average citizen cannot afford basic essentials in your country because fat lazy avaricious cats that produce nothing and oppress those that do, I see a day of reckoning coming soon.
