Hey, I hope this helps anyone struggling or new to this! The brick controller 2 App brings powered up to life and allows you to connect a controller for better playability.
You can connect multiple hubs at once for the biggest of big builds!
Plenty of options like servo steering for RC cars, decrease torque, use analog controls etc.
Any questions just ask!

my end 2022 lineup: motors: m, l, xl, c+ servo. hubs: c+ hub The following sets at end of 2022 are: 42140: same parts as 42124. 42114: 1 l, 1 xl, 1 servo, and 1 hub. 42124: 2 ls, and 1 hub. 42129: 1 m, 3 ls, and 1 hub. 42131: 2 servos, 2 ls, and 1 hub. retiring sets at end 2022: 42099: 1 l, 2 xls, and 1 hub. 42100: 4 ls, 3 xls, and 2 hubs 42109: 1 l, 1 xl, and 1 hub.

@@steinestapler726 that’s weird, there is two of my hubs which also don’t connect to the app but all the others do. There’s a few other apps too but I can’t think of the name. Lego also do one

Great video, thanks! I tried with the ps5 dual sense controller, but I can't use the joysticks. The app is confused with the triggers, reading them as -1 in their rest position. I hope this will be fixed in future versions.

I've been trying for a while, but can't manage to conect my Technic hubs to the app :( I can connect a Buwizz 2 so the app is working, just not with the Control+ Technic Hubs

hi, app does not recognize niceboy oryx gamepad on ios, even though it is connected. Is there a list of compatible gamepads?

Hi, one question please, if want to have more ”functions” than 4 do I need to have 2 hubs and will I be able to use them both to the same controller? Thanks!

Hi there! Yes you can use many hubs at once, I’ve had upto 12 connected at once on my spinning wheel videos. I’ve had one button controlling 43 motors or I’ve had 12 Motors each designated to a controller button. Once you programme the first 4 motors on one hub the next time you just scroll down to select hub 2 and go from there. Any questions just ask cheers :) Also if needed you could use two separate buttons on a controller to control 1 motor.

I'm having trouble using this app with the 42124 Off-Road Buggy, specifically for steering. The servo mode only auto calibrates, which is convenient, but it always makes the battery box blink red, and it drained my batteries really fast. Do you have any advice? I've tried altering the controller deadzones to not push it as far, and also bring the servo rotation degree way down, but that doesn't help. Also, there's quite a lot of input delay, but this may be due to the batteries getting low

Hi there that’s really odd! I’ve never experienced that! The input delay will be due to you turning the dead zone on. That won’t effect how much it turns it just means the first few degree you turn nothing will happen. It sounds like the motors are over pushing and that’s hard to explain why. The only thing I could think of is it’s either the batteries or hub! I have experience one rechargeable battery failing and that ruined the performance.

@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines For some reason they were more drained than the other four. I put them all in my charging dock to check and only two were empty

Hey Fish sorry I didn’t see this! I think most Bluetooth controllers should connect to your phone. My ps3 one didn’t put the PS4 controller did!

Yes, all versions of Xbox controllers from version 1708 up (since 2016) will work. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_Wireless_Controller

You mean by a single button on the gamepad? That is sadly not currently possible. Also, the app is now not actively developed, with the last update over a year ago.

Hi Marek I couldn’t get the ps3 controller to connect to the iPhone so no. Maybe it connects to other phones? All you need is a Bluetooth controller of any type which will connect to your phone and it will work with this app! 😀

Hey I buy my parts on eBay! I bought the 42100 set which has so many parts! 7 motors two hubs

OMG. I got this problem when I saw this pic. The box it's damaged after shipping process Have Fun! edit for my first comment: I searched for 42100 on eBay. EDIT2: Motors are $35 each. And hub is cost you $90. (Unbrickme)
