Tutorial: Die cuts and embossing folder without a machine

This is about making faux cabinet cards - when you do not have a machine like my dearest friend Jenny Miller, please check her channel, she is so awesome, you may be interested in using die cuts as well - for the intricate ones this will not work, but frames come out gorgeous! If you need something, search for this on YT, I am sure you will find so many videos - and look at aliexpress, you need to wait for delivering, but it is worth it. @@AngelikaSchlager BTW, I think you should try using a silicone/rubber brayer instead of your spoon. You'll find it so much easier! XX

@@AngelikaSchlager I'm sorry, Angel! I just wanted to make things easier for you. Using a rubber roller puts less pressure on our hands - especially for us who struggle anyway (The roller works when our body weight rests on it... FINALLY 🤣 !!! I can utilize my weight for a good cause 😆 hahaha...) I didn't mean to bother you, or make you buy anything special (😁 b-u-t if you're interested, you can find silicone/rubber rollers for a couple of bucks on AliExpress & any local hardware store. The dies are good quality to cut through 100gsm. Mine seem to be blunt edged.

Hallöchen, liebe Barbara!!! Meine Freundin hat keine Nudelmaschine, also habe ich auch mal eins gemacht - gibts eh viele, aber naja!! Die make up Bürste meinst du? Aliexpress! Gäbe es auch beim Tedi jetzt, aber der ist zu. Bist du schon auf 20.000? So cool! Naja, shooting star eben!!! Und so fleißig - bei mir hat der upload 18 Stunden gedauert - pain in the butt. Question: has any one ever tried a rolling pin over the die??

Thank you, dear Carol for this question! I think the paper will not be cut properly, the machine has simple more pressure. The intricate dies for sure not! Try it please and tell us the result, but turn the die face down on a craft mat or your next cookies will look interesting! 😀 hugs angel.💓

Thank you for the excellent tutorial Angelika! I really love the idea of using a part of the embossing folder so that was very helpful. Also can you remember the name of the tiny slot die that you used? I think you said it's from Aliexpress, but I have gone through every die and haven't been able to find it. Thank you again. Yes, I am sure I bought those on aliexpress, but I can not find them either any more, so I am almost sure they are out of stock - but when you search some weeks later, they will be in again. It is hard to find all items - it is so huge!!! I am sorry I can not help just now! It is a slot cutting die. Thank you and hugs angel.
