This video shows how to Create, Save and View a map in the ECOVACS Home App using the ECOVACS DEEBOT T9+ Robot Vacuum. You will see the map being created in the ECOVACS Home App as the ECOVACS DEEBOT T9+ Robot Vacuum is creating the map while also simultaneously cleaning the area.
Yes! the ECOVACS DEEBOT T9+ Robot Vacuum also cleans the area while mapping so you don't need to run a separate cleaning cycle after mapping.
Additionally in this Video.....whilst the ECOVACS DEEBOT T9+ Robot Vacuum is creating the map and cleaning, I have also posted pictures of my house map and multiple floor maps. Hi, I have a T9 and unfortunately I was never able to connect it to the app. Use it only without mapping as it does not detect my Network. Do you know how I can solve this problem? I've tried every way.

how do you create various areas? (not different maps). Like I want to set the bounderies for example I have an open space. I want to do this section be the dining area, the one right next to it the kitchen and next to it is the living room. Everything is located in the same room since there are no walls between those spearate areas

Hi, Thanks for your comment. The DEEBOT T9+ Robot Vacuum will firstly need to create the map of the open space in the ECOVACS Home App which you can then divide further into different areas/sections using the Merge and Divide buttons in the App and then name them as Kitchen, Living room etc. The video links to Merge and Divide Rooms and Open Spaces and how to create a Map are below. My Deebot N8 Pro got stuck somewhere and I could not find it the next day. I found it under the couch. Not sure why it stopped. I had to pick up and move back to charging dock. Now it cannot locate. It always times out when I try to locate or run. Customer service said to turn off and back on a couple of times. Did it twice, no luck. Will try more. Also tries to remap each time I run it as it can't locate.

It seems that sometimes the map takes a while to refresh. So it will still work and vacuum but will create a new temporary map. I found this out after turning off and on a couple of times. After spending like 30 minutes on the app waiting for it to come back to my mapping, I gave up. Later that day I checked the app again and the original map was there as if nothing happened.

The map isn't saving. It's very annoying. Any tip to save a map?

Thanks for your comment. Yes, It would be very annoying if the map doesn't save. I havent seen this issue yet with my DEEBOT T9+, as seen in the video once DEEBOT T9+ completes mapping the ECOVACS Home APP automatically brings up the completed map and upon clicking the 'Done' button it should save. You will need to contact the ECOVACS Customer Care at your location. Goodluck!
