I can't cover all of CSP's features in one video, so if you have a question about anything, just comment on it and I'll try my hardest to answer.

If you're totally serious about not knowing how to convert greyscale to colour. I'll tell you. Once you're done with your greyscale, you can either use gradient maps, or colour on a different layer and set it to overlay above your grayscale. (this is only my basic knowledge, I'm still learning too!)

I absolutely love CSP, and I absolutely avoid to use Photoshop unless I absolutely have to (format requirements, filters, etc...) I love how easy it is to draw in CSP, using brushes is such a hassle in Photoshop compared to CSP. If you haven't changed yet, please do so. Society has progressed past the need for Photoshop.

a good way to convert to color is to put flat color underneath the grey then set the grey layer to brightness blend mode. if it is too dull, put a color gradient map on it to give it some saturation

I've had clip studio paint for years now, and I'm so excited to finally see it blowing up in the west! It's my go to program and I've recommended it to people for years! Vector layers are not really just for logos and vector stuff. They help a lot when you are not confident with your strokes yet because you can use a special tool to modify the strokes without redrawing everything by changing their shape or width. Also they offer better stabilization during drawing and after it (what I calling an anti shaky hand option)

I've been struggling with hair shading using watercolor brushes, tried watching a lot of hair shading tutorial videos but this one of yours helps me the most even though it's not a shading tutorial. Thank you so much man!

OH MY GOD!! tysm you're the only one who explained how to start with CSP in the easiest way possible. Every other video I had found was so messy and confused me, but this made it all clear. Surely will start using CSP instead of SAI now that I feel much more comfortable with the program.

to add color - you can either try to lasso the area and use the adjustment layers, or you can add basic colors and then change the mode to Soft Light then u can adjust the colors using the adjustment layers to your liking :D

this looks really cool, but Ive just started using clip studio (and digital art overall) so this went too fast for me to fully follow along in some parts. like how you divided layers or what some of the stuff like clipping layers or multiply thingy does (like why to do it) or why the shadows would suddenly look super dark then back to what u were working on? idk im totally lost, but ill probably come back to this video once i understand it better.
