"Snow (although I've never seen it in person)" The feels. I'm gonna be real with you. Two years ago when I was 16 I've experienced my very first snowy day and let me tell you it was a great experience. I say great because it was very light, when I moved to Chicago at 17 I had my first heavy snow experience. And boy let me tell you it was magical. Now as a Californian we don't get snow. So when I told a friend in Washington that the light snow was the first time I've ever experienced it he was dumbfounded like "YoU'vE nEvEr SeEn SnOw?" Despite him knowing I come from a very hot and dry place. So I know you will love the snow as much as I have. Just be careful because it might almost literally freeze the ground outside where you walk on. A few weeks in a snowy day I left my house and the soon moment I place my foot on the concrete ground my foot started slipping.

That is for sure one of, or maybe even THE best video on the topic I have ever seen. Really good work on both the tank and the video. Brilliant idea to put pictures up of all the products you use when you use them, perhaps I will steal that from you someday in the future. Going to build the 1:72nd scale T-60 from ACE this year... if I can reach 10-20% of the realism you achieved in your model I'm really happy ;)

@efeyigit6766
@efeyigit6766 5 жыл бұрын
It is better to wait since it is easier to blend it once it is wet. But you can use the wet wash as some kind on streaking effect or as pigment fixer (tamiya brown wash works really well). Your profile pic is best girl btw.

Hi Sergio! Many thanks for your videos, it's been a great learning resource:) I love your work, taste and the way you weather your models:) If I may ask you about Ammo Mig Lucky Varnish: could you please give some advice on how to use it? I have the mat and satin version, but I just can't use it with my airbrush... It clogs just immediately after pulling the trigger, and after about a 2 seconds it stops spraying at all. I tried different PSI, tried diluting it with water or tamiya X20 thinner, from 1:1 to even 1:5 ratio. But it still goes very ugly through my airbrush:( If you could share some hints, I would be very grateful!
@SergioSolo
@SergioSolo 6 жыл бұрын
Hi, Ziemowit! I'm glad you like my videos. About the varnish, I apply them directly from the bottle but never had any issues so I don't know how to solve them. They spray really well from my experience. Sorry I can't be of more help
@ziemowitkaczmarek3923
@ziemowitkaczmarek3923 6 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the reply:) That's stange... I have 2 bottles, each one is completely unusable straight from the bottle:( I've read on many forums that people have the same problem with this varnish and it's clogging the airbrush completely... Could you perhaps share what PSI and needle size are you using? Is it 0.3 for example?
@SergioSolo
@SergioSolo 6 жыл бұрын
That's weird. Pressure is around 20Psi and the needle I use is 0.35mm
@ziemowitkaczmarek3923
@ziemowitkaczmarek3923 6 жыл бұрын
Yep, but I'm not alone here as I searched forums regarding this topic as well:( I also used 20 psi and 0.3 mm. Wird, I think I would search for some kind of retarder or try other brand. If two bottles are equally as bad, then there is something wrong with it..

How is the flash on the Miniart vehicle kits? I've only ever done figures and small lits such as a wooden cart and the flash is very bad. I'm planning to get the SU-85 and it would be nice to know the flash isn't as bad. Thank you.

Flash is not an issue in their recent vehicle kits. They're excellent quality. The only flash I've encountered is with their figures and some old accessories sets, but you already know that. I suggest you to look for opinions about that particular kit, though

Hello, how come when you applied the green over the chipping effect, it didnt chip as much or as easily as the white paint did. Even though uou applied the same amount of chipping effect?

I had a problem when I used set and sol after Lucky vanish to work with decals - set and sol ate the vanish and I had dameged layer of vanish (the same thing with markfit of tamiya). Did you get the same result with these new Lucky vanishes or I'm so lucky to have such a problems?

Really? That's weird. I've only tested them over their glossy varnish and as you saw in the video, it didn't affected it

I used the glossy varnish too (I have all of these new Lucky line varnishes). I went to the official distributor of AmmoMiG in Russia on this issue, it was a few months ago, so maybe AmmoMiG has changed something in their varnishes to solve this problem.

I cant seem to find ca glue any where, do you know where i can? Cant seem to find online either, is there a different name for it that i dont know? Is micro set or sol better?

CA glue is essentially super glue. It's easy to find. Micro Sol and Set are two different products to be used in conjunction. neither are better. they work together.

Magnífico trabajo ... aunque ese "cuvierto" (sic) en 21:55 hace daño a los ojos. Supongo que fue una contaminación del "covered" en correcto inglés de arriba.
