I'm on the version where the Level Editor is fully released and you don't have to do some update stuff to access the level editor. It seems like the "Edit Levelpacks" button is greyed out. When pressing it, nothing happens. Is Hempuli still updating the level pack feature or am I doing something wrong?

you have to go into the editor settings at the bottom and turn on the 2 advanced options

I found a bug with the paths that only open if you have a certain numbers of level/map clears. it had something to do with the thingy that pops up with it while also swaping characters at the same time.

Your paths are set to gates not paths

You can actually go without cursor if you just do “is select” with something.

Hey when I beat a level how do I make it so I appear in the world map Ive tried everything and it wont work

Just save everything and make sure the level you are getting sent to is "parent level" not a selected level cus ive also had that but i fixed it

Plus you need to make a level the world map and also change the level type to a map

unfortunately it seems that only PC and switch will have the editor. mobile devices will be able to play custom levels(I think) but will not be able to make them

You can't upload in-game, but you can share the files for it online

You have to go in the level editor and look where it says "level name (numberedlevel)" it will be like 203level well you just copy the level files and paste them in the levelpack folder you have and also rename the level hope this helped ive did this for a level. For more info just ask

@@remasterism1428 go into the game files then press data then go in worlds folder and go in any pack and then copy the level files (Xlevel.l Xlevel.ld Xlevel.ld. And Xlevel.png)

This feature is only accessible on Steam, so if you are on Switch, I can't help you. The full editor should be available early 2021. If you're on Steam however, right-click the game on the left bar, click 'Properties', then 'Betas' and select 'betatest - betatest' from the drop-down. The game should now say 'Baba make Level!' and the 'Level Editor' option should now be available.

I have a question, I managed to put a level on the map (the level icon shows numbers) but when I test it no matter what I do I can’t enter it, do you know what button I must use? (Enter doesn’t work)

@@thecupcakehey1608 What editor are you using? I know it's weird a bit, but I use the external editor. It's somehow simpler and it has less bugs.

go into settings of the game in steam, go to "betas" and choose "betatest - betatest" and update/download your game.

i know everything in the editor EXCEPT FOR maps. level maps is literally the hardest thing to do, AND I CANT DO IT FOR SOME REASON

Ok, this video is too chaotic. So, i create a level. I set baba is you, flag is win, put baba and flag near each other. Boom, level 1 done. Then I create another level. I go on objects -> levels, then exit the menu and click on a tile to create a level. I set its initial state (opened), 00 as number, and "which level this leads to", by clicking on the name and selecting the level I just created. I then click again on objects, then object, I select the cursor image, I place it on this first level. I make this level a map by boing on settings -> map settings -> map. I save. Then, when I test it, this first level icon does not work at all. It does not open the first level i have created and that i liked to it (I even set that level to "first level). I does NOTHING. On the screen it is written the name of the level it should send you to, but when I press enter, nothing happens. It's frustrating. What am I missing? I'm frustrated and i have spent too much on this video and on the editor T_T

To actually enter the levels, you need to play it in the 'play levels' category. I'm not sure why this is, but it might be a combination of save file requirements (you need a save file to play other people's levels) and the fact that if you enter a level in the map, you aren't actually testing the map any more. Testing is, after all, a way to check in what way(s) your level can be beaten.

you can't enter/exit levels in the editor, only from the play menu, however you probably figured that out by now. XD

Good idea to make such video. Constructive feedback: you waste a lot of time in the video with particle, colors and other irrelevant things. The viewer wants to understand the Level Pack mechanics.
