Sick Bro, worked on my oldstyle STX AV8 head that i bought when i was a tyke. Worked perfectly and now i use it as a fun practice stick. By far the most work i put into a stick. All thanks to you its sick now. Thanks man

used this tutorial on my blade pro hs and it came out great! The only thing that I would suggest to keep it from hourglassing in the middle while its cooling off is to take a chopstick and put it between the sidewalls in the throat area to keep it at the width you want it. Oh and make sure you use white strings if your pinching a white head. The ink from the navy blue string left dye marks.

Hey great video man I tried this on my other stick and it worked great. But I was wondering if this would still work with an stx hammer? It's SUPER STIFF so I'm not sure if it will work. Thanks

Aaron Schiff It should work with the hammer. I have never had a problem pinching any heads using this method

For my first attempt, I tried to pinch a Proton U. Didn't go well. The head is so stiff that when I was twisting the chopstick, it broke in half. And it really was not pinched at all. The next try I did it and the sidewall snapped. Very discouraging... But great video.

Ben Dreher Pinching a head will always change the head, but it is tough to say if it will mess it up. That just depends on personal preference.

Hey Greg, I bought a used Rabil X head and it came pinched, the only problem is the when it is on the shaft it is lopsided to the right. Do you have any tips on how to fix that because it is really getting on my nerves and I need help

You could try to re pinch the head

Thats because a microwave superheats a head and the molecules in it, which breaks the bonds between the molecules. Boiling it (or baking) heats it gradually.
