I think it's a good idea to play eliminated cards under the player aid ;). They won't be confused with the cycled cards pile.

Thank you for the video! I just received this game as a gift and was setting up the 4-player version to learn how to play but you are right that the 2-player Fellowship is easier and quicker to learn, especially if it is just you learning how to play. I like that idea!

Feels like you run out of cards very quick tho, the first turns its more luck of the draw until you established some board in your reserve area

If I play Black Captain, can I leave witch king in reserved?

A good explanation but this is not the main two player mode. This is one of the side modes.
