They are beautiful. I've been looking for inspiration for vintage looking Christmas ornaments that would go well with the vintage tinsel tree 🌲 I'm planning to do. You're very creative.

Hi, I have found that a light dusting with cornstarch or spray cooking works to release any air dry clay.

These are gorgeous! They're very "baroque" in appearance. I love Seth Apter's products. I have some of his "embossing powders"-- patina, "asphalt road-looking," a few unusual ones. I've also gotten a few of his stamps. I need to check out his site again--those squeeze finishes look intriguing. Also, I love Stamperia paper--I think that's where I got my paper for the "Alice in Wonderland" golden book that I want to take apart, insert "pretties" and pages, but also keep the story intact. "Alice 2.0." My little Grandson is 10 years old, and I have been thinking about what to make for him to remember "Gammie." He's inheriting my Nutcracker collection (much to my daughter's horror). She's a single mom, living the apartment life. This is why plastic storage bins were created, though, so the Nutcrackers will be fine. I hope you and yours have a blessed Christmas, and I pray this "C" word goes away too!!!!

Ha Ha Beverly I had to look up the word Baroque. And yes you are correct they do look from that time period. Do you have a KZfaq channel? I would love to see some of your work. Like I said in the video you are my number one commentator and I really appreciate it. Where do you live again? I'm sure you have told me before but I have a memory like a sieve. Merry Christmas to you also. Hugs Juanette

@@JuanettesCraftingCorner Thanks Juanette!!!! I have a channel, but I haven't posted on it. I live in Southeastern Tennessee. My father started me on my art journey when I was six, when he allowed me supervised use of his watercolours. As I got older, he would just place random objects in front of me and "tell me to draw them." I've acquired a philosophy of "I can probably draw this, create that." I'm rather competitive, but thirsty to learn. Your tags really intrigued me, and I have since acquired the embroidery books you told me about. "Vintage" is my favourite genre, but I also love Steampunk. Mixed in there is a love of knitting from my mom--I am a sock knitter--and there's not a lot I won't try. I just don't like to be "restricted" in my creativity. But I do love your creations!!!!! A very Happy Christmas to you and yours.

@@beverlymeaker7566 You should join in and do Roxy Creations ( Rachel and her sister Sarah) new project with me. It is a Journal of Stitchery. It is going on for 6 months. They have just started with learning 20 different stitches for a sampler and then each month there will be a prompt. I'm going to try and link her channel for you. #roxysjournalofstitchery kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ns-JjMmTtsjLgJs.html It will be similar to the tags but I didn't want to do that again. (Neither did Rachel) So I'm glad she decided to do this challenge instead. Happy New Year friend.

Just beautiful. Can you list some of the products you use? Like the gel glue in the jar. I have never seen that before. Also the textured product you used to spread around the ornament. Thanks so much you have a new fan.

Thanks so much Dawn. I used Liquitex brand matt super heavy gel that was in the jar. I bought it at Hobby Lobby. The texture paste was from Seth Apter and it was called Izink flakey texture paste. I hope this helps. I will probably film another ornament tutorial soon.
