Tutorial: recycle your toilet roll cores into ephemera !

As promised, here is my tutorial where I make some ephemera using toilet roll cardboard cores. I know you have these lying around, so, I thought I would give you an idea or two on what I do with them.
I am sure this is not unique, but as I always say, it is my take on them! So grab you crafting goodies, or a cuppa and come and join me. I would love to see what you create. Tag me in on Instagram at Angela.k50

Hi Angela! I really enjoy your videos and all your beautiful work. I also wanted to share a tip with you. When I flatten my paper rolls I then use my hair flat iron on them. It flattens them real flat with no need to put them under a heavy item. Best of it all not waiting for flatness to occur. Give it a try guaranteed to work! XXX

Ten months ago I had never seen junk journaling or your wonderful videos, so now I'm trying to catch up and found this- I love recycling items that you would normally throw away into beautiful things (and it saves money too!) I have a lot that I have saved & smashed flat. Waiting for a project. I have made small albums for my grandchildren. I put a ring on the end so it flips! Great video!

Hi Angela. I love this idea. I keep an old flat iron (used for straightening hair) in my craft room to iron anything that doesn't want to lie flat on its own. It works great on TP rolls!

Great idea Karen! I love it! I have a flat iron to iron my sari ribbon! LOL! It is a handy tool, I must agree. I will try that. I have subsequently just run the TP cores through my Big Shot. They are instantly flat too. Hugs and smiles xx

I’ve also started saving my paper towel cores. Then I smash flat and cut to the length I desire. Can usually get at least 2 out of each.

I just found this video. I love these ideas. I tried making ephemera with them using a punch. My punches won't go through the cardboard. These I can do.Such lovely pockets.
