This channel really is special. There's SO much information packed into a single video, from what's in the title to iterative workflow level-ups and shortcuts. If it were any other KZfaqr, I'd say that's not a great way for a student to get specific information, but that's only because I don't actually want to watch many other KZfaqrs' videos in their entirety. I barely know how to open Blender and can't get enough of watching your videos. My tag is "Clear Fur Cloak" (CFC) inspired by the famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld who once stated that the only material he could never make was Clear Fur. Now that's something I don't think humanity has ever seen and that you could prob make happen... Cheers !

I do agree in some ways about render in a lower resolution and then upscaling the images to save time, but on certain renders that I have done in the past. The reason I render them out at 4k and 8k (usually 8k) is for the details that don't even come close to being rendered when you rendering them out at
