You could also cut off the “flap”, invert and sew back together so flap is not inside-out. Would not change the sew parts at all! Love this! Kinda a BoHo look with the canvas!!

Sewed around one this morning in the midst of getting ready for work.. Will use ledger paper tonight and a book page one and a magazine one! I can't stop!! Aighhhh! Watching this video was reminiscent of the days when I took my nephew to the play park and just so enjoyed watching the kids have fun. Nothing makes me happier than others people's joy. These pockets are definitely on my list. Have fun at your retreat, but don't burn out your sewing machine motor whipping out ephemera.

Wowsers impressive!! You absolutely Figured it out and your tutorial was spot on!! I think the flap being upsidedown looks great! It breaks up the pattern and gives your eye a place to rest and a place to decorate. Otherwise it would be too busy to decorate on the fabric if it all was stamps. You're the best of the best!! Great project. LOVE the stamp fabric. To get a bit of variety on the paper pockets fold the 2-sided paper with the opposite side showing. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞

Gayle, I remember this pattern a little larger on wallpaper- when I was a kid we made a pocket with a button whole and used the pocket for recipe cards. 👼🙏🏻✨💯🕊❤️

I had to laugh. Right when you said these would be good for mass making I was already into it....made 22 + 1 for my idea journal that I didn't completely glue together. I did the paper version so I could still hear you, and I used one of your crochet digitals and I think those are my favs!

I got so tickled when I saw this video because I did the same thing. I just love those Pockets so I got out some fabric that I had leftover from counted cross stitch that had the teeny tiny count that I could no longer see to use. And I cut Pockets out of that. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the video to see what you do with other Fabrics hopefully and of course with paper such a fun project

These are great - I've taken notes and I'm headed for the craft room now. You know, it'd be entirely possible to glue fabric ones, too. I'm gonna try that. And I recently bought the gerbera daisy impresslit and I think I'm going to try one or two without a deep flap to use the daisies on. :) Thanks, Gayle!
