This is part of the solution, but a critical point left out: You should never push the table volume in the audit menu to its maximum amount. Many extreme examples don't like being pushed higher than 15, else they'll distort and you'll get crackly audio. Part of the reason that this table sounds so crackly with loud sound output after the adjustment, is because it was cranked to the maximum of 30 and the gain is too hot.

Nice little trick. I was a kid in the 90s. Still a gamer today. But modern games just don't have that special something any more. Maybe I'm just getting older by I find virtual pinballs to be very entertaining!

Sir you are a life saver. I have been tearing my hair out trying to figure out where my sound went to. an open cabinet door never occurred to me (I play on PC, so yeah). Just ONE MORE REASON why the community needs to come together and combine all the separate parts of these systems into ONE Software package. and have an options page to configure the system, instead of 3-4 separate systems with a hodgepodge of barely connected links between them.

So we have to adjust each table seperatly in order to change the volume for music and effects in VPX X ?? Or is there a way to adjust on the fly when the table is running preferrely from frontend ?? Because some tables I wanna have the music louder and effects lower and vice versa.
