Was the money allocated to his constituency? What was responsible for the delay to expend the money for the construction of the roads? Edo people required transparency and accountability, certainly not political deception and manipulation. However, if the money is from his personal savings accounts, he should be appreciated. But is this a palliative’s work based on political considerations? Because the rainy season will make the roads messy and dangerous to drive through.

Edo people will give no room to strangers to come and corrupt our history and everything our fathers have laboured to give us that makes us Edo. Edo state is the remnant of what used to be one of the greatest empires in Africa, please let us protect her. It is obvious you guys are not from Esan. Try visiting asue ighodalo's home at Ebhokimi if you will not shed hot tears at the level of primitivity of that community and most importantly the road probably your worst nightmare, even a motor bike finds it extremely difficult to pass on. Asue is one of the biggest names in law, banking and commerce in Nigeria, but where is his finger print in his own fatherland. Now he expects the people "Edo people" whom he forgot, abandoned, neglected and despised to make him governor now. Sorry we don't know him as he didn't want anything to do with us over the past 25 years

What has asue done for his people over the last 25 years, with all those massive affluence, leadership capacities, power, wealth, intelligence etc. Yet his home town is an eye Saw, one of the most remote communities in the whole of Esan. Do you think he needs to be given more chances than he has gotten so far to transform Edo state? See what pastor Chris Oyakhilome has transformed Ewu in to. Asue is not passionate about Edo, if he was we would have seen it over the past 25 years.

@@Estheromoye your candidate Monday just realized the road is bad 6 months to election? Asue is not in government but Monday is in government so it is his duty to bring attention to that road. It is not the duty of an individual to fix his community, it is the duty of local government chairman and councilor. Monday said I went to meet the president, that we don’t have anything to campaign with that they fix the road for them to campaign with. So if there was no election he would not have pushed for them to fix the road, even as a sitting Senator? Does Monday even know his duty as a Senator or he is waiting for his leader to tell him what to do? That road was refused attention by APC government under Buhari and Tinubu until election because it is a PDP state. You people should keep deceiving yourself about Monday
