it has been 2 years. 2 years since the end of this amazing journey, this hell of a ride, this epic love story... I honestly don't have much to say, just that, I know that some ppl started watching the show when it was first released in 2009. Me, sadly didn't. I started about a year ago, but SO MUCH has changed. I've moved from my old home, I've met new ppl... while watching this amazing show. I have grown SO much over a year. And, I'm glad i did it while watching tvd. I miss them. They made me feel like I've known them for just so long. And when the show ended for me I felt a hole in my heart. I know that some ppl who watched tvd when it started in 2009 used to comeback from school everyday and look into damon's blue eyes, or say ''Previously in The Vampire Diaries'' with the cast, I've heard ppl saying that thay started watching tvd when they were 12 now those kids back then have grown. Those kids are 20 now. They grew with them, even the ones who just finished watching the show did. We cried, laughed, got hurt, angry with them. Some of us in different places or times. But, we all did. And, I'm glad i got to share these moments with them.

This series ended three years ago and I'm still watching it and crying. Why it had to end!

This show is everything for me. It will always have a place in my heart.

What was most beautiful was that they all went from frenemies to family and they would do anything for each other.

it just amazes me how "nobody knows you, the way that i know you" fits completely in describing how I feel about this TV Show, because I feel like this show knows me better than anyone, I started watching it when I was 11, when the season 4 was aired. and it ended when I was 15. now, I don't live in the US, and here we don't have CW unfortunately, but I remember doing my best to find a way to watch every episode even without subtitles because I was eager to see these characters growing, and loving and hating, crying, living, and even teaching me things (the importance of friendship and family for example)! I met people because of vampire diaries, some of them are my best friends by now, might I add. I changed, I grew up, I got hurt, I lost people and every single time TVD was there with me to bring me comfort. and now, I am 19, in college, in a new period of my life (and my friends keep automatically associating anything related to TVD with me even nowadays, it's actually funny)... it's been three years since the season finale, and I still feel that, I still watch the episodes over and over again, like a reminder of the good times and how I've managed to survive the bad ones too. I still watch it when I'm sad, when I'm feeling nostalgic, when I'm happy, it's the tv show I keep coming back to. and all I can do is thank every single one of this actors and actresses, producers, writers and everyone involved, for making this epic tv show, that is basically a part of me, of who I am. (also, needed to edit to say that I watched this entire video crying eyes out, it's perfect, really)

It's been 11 years since this has came out, I was one years old so I didn't get to start watching it until I was 10 years old but since then i've never wanted to stop watching it. It really showed me that in life there will be heartbreak, happiness, laughter, anger, but that should make me feel most alive. I just really love the relationships and friendships in this show, I loved Stefan and Elena's relationship when they were together but I didn't like how overprotective he was of her. I love Damon and Elena's relationship, he's not too protective of her but it shows how much he cares for her and I love how he lets her make her own decisions as well and I just love their chemistry overall. I loved Bonnie and Enzo's relationship, they were just perfect for eachother. I despised of Caroline and Tyler and Caroline and Matt being together as well, none of those relationships worked. I loved all of Alaric's relationships even him and Meredith being together! I absolutely loved the bond Damon and Stefan had, I've never seem such a strong bond even after all the stuff they did to each other. I love Bonnie and Damon's friendship omg! I also loved Damon and Caroline's and Enzo and Caroline's frenemy friendship lol. This show ended three years ago and I just can't get myself to stop watching it and. i honestly don't want to lol. I've watched it 5 going on my sixth time, i'm currently on season 6 episode 11 and I know once I get to the last season I won't be able to stop crying! I love that this show had two spinoffs, The Originals, and The Legacies. I've a;ready watched The Originals once but Im watching it again right now, but I haven't watched The Legacies because i'm so caught up in between The Vampire Diaries and The Originals lol. I really wished some characters like Kai and Kol were bigger parts of the show as well. Even though Kai had done some bad things, I loved his sense of humor and how he acted when he was working with them. I loved Kol's sense of humor and his bond with his siblings and Elena when they were being nice and working with each other. I do think everyone was a little selfless when it came to Elena though. Everyone sacrificed themselves and risked their lives for her I do wish everyone let her figure things out by herself. A lot of the characters also acted like Elena's life was the only important one bc when Elena got turned everyone put their lives on pause and went searching for the cure with her and it was like she was the only one amongst them who was turned and Bonnie was really supportive as well when elena was turned and stayed by her side the whole time, but when Caroline was turned Bonnie didn't even wanna look at her she didn't even try to help her through it she just avoided the whole situation and everyone else was just telling her it was gonna be fine and didn't even try looking for a cure. I just wish more main characters got the attention they deserved. OMG I just realized I spent like 30 minutes writing a huge paragraph for absolutely no reason when nobody's gonna read it but i'ts find lol. That's more than I try writing in school LMAO
