Keith Manzano that's kind of unfair seing as in this era, the leading kpop groups already established their image for the public and the companies can thread on more risky concepts. snsd had their aegyo and sexy era too. don't say those things when snsd promoted songs like kissing you, oh, genie (and many more) which was more aegyo and skin revealing (and garnered them a lot of haters too) than "actual" complex choreography, even gee which had a hard choreo relied greatly on aegyo factor too. what's with the elitism and comparison? Give the new generation the chance and time to grow. snsd wasn't always a legend, they started out as rookies too.

The point here is that the new generation of k-groups doesn't actually have the vibe from the older generation. I mean the new generation are talented but popularity nowadays are based solely on visuals, unlike the old generation where all artist can sing and dance, and do variety shows really great.

To me: Hyoyeon: Overall excellent, trained moves. Great fluidness, even with popping and locking, like it's her second nature (which it probably is). Her dance contains a lot of movement and ideas, like a complex wine. Yuri: The sexy queen can really move her hips (I don't mean this in a weird way) and her dance is smooth and buttery, like mocha caramel. Yoona: Much crisper, hip-hop-ier dancing; as you said, sharp and clean movements, kind of like peach sorbet - flavorful and not too overpowering. Sooyoung reminds me of Gingerbread - spicy, delicious to look at, amazingly complexness that complements something smoother, like cream (which would be Yuri, as stated above). I don't get why people say Yoona's not as good as the other three; her dance is sharp, but people jus say that her moves are too practiced. :( Haters gonna hate.

+H-San恵美子 Yeah! Exactly what I want to say. Although Yoona sticks to the choreography , she has her own style of dancing which is charismatic and attractive . Sticking to the choreography is actually a good thing. It means that Yoona doesn't make many mistakes. In this case, Yoona is not being blocked by the choreography instead she turns it into a piece of art. Of course no one is perfect but Yoona slays this piece of art.

The Kpop scene back then was way better than today... lots of groups participate in dance battles to showcase their talents unlike today where a lot of groups continue to pop out one by one and fanwars are everywhere smh kpop scene from 2000-2010 are the best
