I've been searching for a long time for a version of this song that was this beautiful. Many artists tend to do too many fancy things with their voices while singing this and that just ruins the simple beauty of the song. This girl is by far the BEST I've heard.

According to jyp, taeyeon sings as if she is talking which not all singers can do that. This makes her and extraordinary singer also she could express the emotion in a song very well which makes her a very talented singer. These singing qualities of taeyeon didn't come from my observation but rather singing experts (jyp and park hyo sin in and interview). For me personally, who is not a singing expert, I just love her voice.

Jennifer Kwentino I believe Taeyeon is indeed a competent vocalist but JYP is not a 'singing' expert at all. He himself doesn't know how to support his singing but it's good that he recognizes how good Taeyeon is though. Haha

there are other artist who can sing higher than taeyeon (i'm not saying she can't do that) but Taeyeon's technique & style is different from them, she just don't sing and reaching a high notes instead she sing emotionally and that's make Taeyeon unique than others!

For me, she has no emotion when sing, only cares about her singing technique. Really different with Ailee or Mamamoo which have so many emotion when they sing.

As someone who is a part of choir, this song is hard to sing you need effort and to pull out all the voices you can give and it can be done while standing up and taeyeon just fuckin sing it effortlessly while seating. That's talent.

목소리가 홀리 그자체 무슨 신이나 천사같은 아무튼 천상계에서 빛을 내리는 기분의 목소리임.. 이거처음 들었을때 진짜 놀랐음 너무 홀리해서 2:00 2:36 진짜 들을때마다 소름돋아 내기준 태연 무대중에서 완전 탑급으로 감탄하면서 본 무대

이 노래만 들으면 어렸을때 추운 겨울날 크리스마스때 두꺼운 코트입고 부모님하고 성당갔던 기억이난다 그때 성당신부님이 맛있는 과자를 줬었다 손시려워서 떨면서 먹던 과자가 얼마나 맛있었던지,,, ㅠ 그 시절은 다시는 오지않겠지,, 그리고 이노래는 머라이어캐리보다 태연이 부른게 나는 더좋아 😍

Taeyeon, her voice suots the song. Plus she sing with her heart. Full of love and soul. Not singing because that's her business. She delivers the song with passion and love, a message needs to be heard. Infact, Hyorin can sing it too and she have a good voice. For now, I pity her because it is used too much. Anyways, still good as heaven. Ailee, this girl can also do it. Burt she's in-charge of English song cover which is pretty hard since she's Korean. Hyorin sang the Let It Go. Ailee sang Someone Like You. Taeyeon sang O Night Divine. GO GIRLS! Imagine of these three sing together? ㅋㅋㅋ
