They had waaay more time and more brains behind the project. We went from an age where tv shows were mostly separate entities to a character being able to show in each other’s shows almost every episode. Just like the Chicago series (PD,Fire and Med). Justice League rushed into things. Unlike the Avengers.

If there was 1 fair criticism it is I don't think the event was at a large enough scale that was visual to the viewer. For what they had and the budget they did a great job. I can however understand anyone that may have been disappointed. The final battle left a lot to be desired and was a major letdown. Overall Crisis on Earth X is the standard of which all crossovers are compared to and that crossover was far better in every way.

They did say that they are thinking about going back to their roots of the crossovers like when they did that vandal savage one with flash and arrow and the hawks, that was like a two episode thing.

Yeah; both deal with meta-humans on a regular basis, so a Black Lightning/Flash crossover seems very plausible.

I like the annual crossovers, but would welcome also more crosovers between two shows or minicrossovers with one or two characters going onto another show. Perhaps Lynn Stewart goes to Central City to be the keynote speaker at a conference about Metahumans, meeting Caitlin Snow. Perhaps she takes Jennifer with her to scope out colleges(just imagine Jennifer and Cisco meeting. Are we ready for that much snark in one room?). Or how about O'Dell pops in Supergirl because Greenlight comes to National City and he is brought in to consult(We could get some awesome Alex/O'Dell or Lex Luthor/O'Dell scenes). Maybe Martian Manhunter comes to Freeland to investigate The 100 and an Alien Trafficking operation(Earth-Prime is a universe where aliens are known and alien immigration is a reality, so how does each city in the Arrowverse deal with it?).

Just because Arrow recreated it doesn't make it "Arrowverse". The universe is shared as the possibility of another hero recreating it is there, it doesn't belong to Arrow

And that for Batwoman Season 2, instead of doing a recast and continue Kate's story, showrunner and producers went by the difficult path of creating a new made up character just for the sake of more diversity, all because Ruby Rose leave the show.
