Presenting the TVS Akula 310 concept. Akula means 'Shark' in Russian. After 1000's of laps and 33 years of passionate racing, TVS is proud to unveil the ultimate predator.

@Niyas TVS is definitely the only Indian company worth it's salt on a race track at the international level.. at the national level they simply dominate and beat every other indian team fair and square.. in the last 35 years, there's been no answer to TVS Racing in Inida.. Bajaj, Hero etc. tried hard and failed miserably.. part of the reason why they (TVS and other Indian companies) don't go to MotoGP yet is economics.. see, in India, you have to make bikes in segments that people could afford.. and until recently - as recently as just 5 years ago, the 150cc was considered premium in India.. the biggest bikes you could get were only 220cc, and THAT limits the economics and technology of bike makers - they have to stick to their market.. but of late, bigger and bigger bikes have been making in roads into Indian market - this just opens up the flood gates for a company like TVS to produce bigger bikes in collaboration with BMW, learn the technology and then go for the kill on the race track eventually.. so we will definitely see TVS in MotoGP sometime in the near future - in my opinion - in about 10 - 15 years..
