windshield is only small part of whole story hear to be clear you just dont know which from those 2 bikes have better aerodynamic .,in race and tourist position .

Dude. Stop marketing that CBR. I think Honda hired you to go and market it left right centre, in all videos possible in KZfaq. Honda themselves have zero interest in that bike. Last week, they released a 3min long ad. And in the entire 3min, they haven't shown CBR 250 even in one single frame of that video. They showed every other product that they have here, starting from that Cliq all the way to the Africa twin. In Bangalore, CBR costs 2.45 l on road and ABS model waiting period is too long. They can't even confirm the availability of the bike. TVS service is far far better and over time, parts availability is also going to improve. Quality on the RR is far ahead of CBR. Better brakes, better suspension, better tyres, better frame, better aerodynamics, better instrumentation and almost same weight. The only con that the RR has now is the vibrations. It's more in some bikes and less in others. Even that will be ironed out soon. Goodluck. Honda fan

RR makes 34+ hp and accelerates to 100 in 6.2 sec. But CBR makes 26hp and takes more than 8 sec to reach 100kmh. The fact that the CBR is more refined is also down to that very same fact. Lower power. If CBR 250 made anything more than 28-29hp, it would lose its refinement and durability. That's why Honda has detuned it. Even the CBR 300, having 286cc is also good for only 28.5hp. If RR also only did 30 odd HP, it would be very refined. The Apache 200 makes only 20hp but the Pulsar 200 makes 23.5hp. Apache is way more refined than pulsar, but does that make pulsar a totally bad bike?

Ajay Kaushik Refinement is down to compression ratio plus technology involved. If bhp per cc is the only factor then Splendour would be more refined than Unicorn 150. But is it? Nope. If Honda makes a 313cc single, it would still be a lot refined than this vibrator from TVS. Also CBR 300R produces over 30hp. The same engine in new 2019 CB 300R produces around 31hp. Apache RR310 despite 65 cc more and 8 more hp is only slightly more faster than the CBR 250R. Aerodynamics? CBR 250R reaches a top speed of well over 152 on GPS. RR310's top speed as per TVS is 160. I honestly dont see any aero advantages there. Fact is TVS have screwed up on their first sport bike design and engineering, and as a result decade old CBR is mauling RR310 in sales figure. Go figure....

That's how far they are ahead of the competition. I am not saying CBR is a bad bike. Even i liked CBR. But the way Honda is treating that bike and bike enthusiasts is what is a big bother. Honda is only selling scooters scooters scooters. What Honda could have done is not the question. What they are doing and what they have done is the question. I could say that even Yamaha could tune their FZ 25 to put out more power and still be refined... But, the question is what they have done. And saying TVS screwed up the design is rubbish. RR accelerates faster and handles much better than your CBR and on the racetracks like MMRT, the stock RR puts a time of 2:06 which is the same as the race spec Honda HRC CBR 250. So, that's saying something. Even a race spec CBR 250 can't outperform the RR on the track.
