You have to increase, not decrease the preload .. For rear, Default (3) or 4 will do the job for a 75kg rider.

@@beingCuriousRider Yes, when you sit on the bike, there won't be any free sag.. Free sag is actually measured without the rider.

@@soumyadipdas8380 wat hv learnt till now is...directly on adjusting preload settings (soft side) practically there will be no change in seat height, but as the spring has been set softer, it squishes down the suspension further thereby indirectly helps in lowering the height

Don't use preload to reduce bike height use it only for rider weight for suspension to work for you. In case you need to reduce height search for lowering kit

Short answer, yes preload WILL reduce or increase ride height. But, for exmaple, if you have the highest setting of preload you will be riding at the maximum height BUT the downside is if you weight at 65 kgs then the maximum preload setting is going to make the ride very harsh. On the opposite end, if it's set incorrectly on the lower side, it will bottom out (run out of travel). So, yes, it can reduce height. The worst case scenario is being short and over weight. Being bery honest. If you reduce the pre load to adjust height but you're over weight, the suspension won't work in your favor, if you hypothetically 5'5 with your weight being where it's supposed to be and you lower your bike with pre load, you should be fine. Also, when you put weight on the bike like pillion or luggage, you will automatically load the bike, this is the time to increase the pre load. I hope this made sense.

Without pillion, Rear preload default settings (3) will do the job for you.. With pillion go for rear Preload 6.

Why compare the riding posture of two different category bikes..bro...rr310 is basically designed for race track and mt 15 is for street ... buy a dominar if you are more into touring

Rear Preload 5 or 6 as per your feedback.. Rebound and Compression is already mentioned in the video..

Balance settings is urban with no changes other than preload according to rider weight. If you go for long rides, obviously touring settings you have to use.. And by using these in different terrains and conditions, you will become an expert way too soon, don't worry..
