TW200 MotoCamping | Couldn't Go to Work so I Rode to the Middle of Nowhere

Күн бұрынI was furloughed from my job for a while and right before I went back to work the weather turned nice So I thought I would take advantage of it. The high up mountains still have way too much snow so I did some more exploring down south west. This particular area is wide open with vast rolling hills all while being surrounded by big mountains in the distance. Not a whole lot of people seem to come out this way with overgrown roads as the evidence. It really feels like you're in the middle of nowhere with plenty of new roads to explore which makes it the perfect area for MotoCamping. I don't believe in God but totally respect and admire your guts to mention your beliefs. So many people are afraid to speak up. Lots going on in the world, silent majority better step up or be shut down for good. Way too many people being destructive and destroying history. Remember, when the mob are done with the statues they'll go after people they don't like, that's scary.

Difficult yes, maybe not completely impossible. I'll be sixty-four in 6 weeks. I stopped riding motorcycles 40 years ago. After I started going to a gym and lost 80 pounds I was able to get on a dual sport and get back into riding. I don't usually tent camp, I have a camper van with a rack to carry the bike. Unless there is more holding you back than just age, you might not have give up the idea of riding Ralph. I've met other riders out on the trails that were older than both of us. Hey Ralph, I am 63 and ride my TW on these same trails! I am out of his age group too but he keeps me inspired. Good luck and try a bicycle if a motorcycle isn’t in you future. Moving and exploring keeps going

no worries glad you enjoy the videos! there are plenty of older people out there that are still riding and doing what they love. I got a message from this lady in her 70's who had just traded her other bike in for a TW200 and is riding it. I don't know if there is something else other than age alone holding you back but don't let your age stop you from doing what you want to do.

Your videos inspired me to buy a tw200 (which I LOVE). Your videos have been extremely helpful to me as a young person who had no idea how to fix or maintain my bike at first. You are very detailed and thorough! Thanks for the awesome content. You have also inspired me to share more with others how Jesus saved me from very bad times in my life. Thanks for the adventure! That was a lot of fun! I totally understand when you say it’s hard to get motivated to go on long over night adventures. I’ve done a few hiking camping trips and it takes a lot of work especially when you are filming it all lol! Praise the Lord about your knees! TDubsKid, another winner of a video...great production, man, and how you used your drone was awesome! It matters not how you camp, whether you backpack, overland on four wheels or moto on two, it's all about getting out into nature and enjoying what God has given us. Your humor is crazy and I love it. I used to own property near Pagosa Springs in the San Juan Mountains and now regret selling it. Colorado is an incredible playground for adults of all ages. I laugh picturing myself at 73 years old riding a TW200 but it's all about the fun and thrills of riding. At your age I was riding a Suzuki 250 Enduro all over the desert and mountains of San Bernardino County of Southern California...wow, I miss those days. Brother, keep riding and stay safe.

I had a 1977 Rd 400 when I was 20. It shook really bad at 75mph and scared me away from riding. I've been wanting to get back in and have wanted a tdub for a few years now. I'm 48. Love your videos and appreciate your Christian testimony too. Thanks for letting me ride before I even have another bike. That's kind of what watching your videos does for me. glad you liked that! there is a way to do an actual night to day timelapse. using aperture priority with lowest aperture seems to be the best bet, you might get a little bit of exposure flicker, but I have plugin that can fix that as long as it's not too bad. true that!

Your my fav to watch because your just enough of a goofball and just serious enough, you are always responsible and respectful, and the quality is top-notch! Keep it up man! The TW is a pretty good Adventure bike. I did some on Mt TW. I had a white and red 1987. Never let me down. I sold to a guy who was planning a ADV ride with his friend and their boys ride across Washington state. I did stay in contact with them and they said that had a great time. Around Bend Oregon out!

You know what would make a great end of an adventure video, you summarizing where you've been. Actually, from the start you could tell us about where you plan to ride, or at least in what direction just to inform about your aim for the day. Also info like the temperature and the time of day, perhaps also the date, would be nice to share. Afterwards, well at home, you could show the spots on google-maps what roads and places you were on. I'm very curious about the Colorado country.

Moto camping videos are inspiring. Just bought a wr400f with a license plate for forest adventures and a ninja 500 for longer road trips. I also have chronic knee pain. I've been trying the same supplement. It actually seems to take the edge off. Great video thanks for sharing.

Another excellent video very professional and entertaining. You make me feel like I'm riding with you. Makes me wish I could bring my Tw out to you and go for a ride. The places you have to ride are beautiful. Here in Ohio it's mud, ruts, rocks and washouts. Tuff for and old timer like me. You are right you are so blessed. Ride on buddy.

This is the second time you mention lack of water during camping. You should reconsider amount of water that you take for camping and add couple more liters. Thanks for video, those drone parts are incredible, had to watch them twice.

Hi there TdubsKid! I hope you are doing well amidst current turmoil. Your videos are like water in the desert for me, because my very own baby Tdubs (the 125 version) is in the shop currently - the previous mechanic fucked the valve adjustment up and lo and behold, the locknut fell off and nowxthe authorized workshop is looking for it in the cylinder head lol

I'm having a hard time finding a suitable dual sport and supply is really low. None to be found new even, and people are trying to sell their used stuff for close to new prices.
