OMG, I am sooooo glad I ran across this video. I have the exact same hair texture and it’s extremely dry and has very low porosity. I tried this and my hair looked AMAZING and it didn’t take long to do at all. 🙌🏾

@@TonyaLatrice I totally understand. I’m going to try my best to stick to it to honor my sister’s memory. She unexpectedly passed away 2 yrs ago and tried several times to help me transition. That’s the one thing that keeps me motivated.

Love this video! The reason that your hair doesn't absorb water right a way is you have low porosity, so you can pick products for that. You nailed it!

Can we please go into 2024 without described anyone with 4 type hair a “wash and go”…of course type 3, 2, 1 hair is truly WASH and GO..ours is more like WASH and STYLE for an hour or more. I will say that your hair looked GREAT!

I have the same style and my crown is a different texture. I will now try gel on the roots.

That crown will try to take us out.. it always takes the longest time to style that section.. lol but yea apply a little bit more gel at the root and smooth it out with your hands that should help💕💕

When do I use the black sponge on my short natural hair? After the products are on ?

Apply the water first, make sure to rub the water into your hair, use your brush to make sure the hair is detangled, then apply the product, rub that in , then use the sponge going in circular motion, until you get the desired style you want.. I hope this helps
