All parents and schools are worried about it. There are much worse and frightening things on the net than Akshay Kumar's films. Do Twinkle as a mother has every right to be bothered about it.

Awww! Did you have to mention her death? I like Vyjayathimala too. Right from my first movie Nagin (which I saw at the age of 3 months-my mother was a big Hindi film fan and was probably trying to escape post-partum depression. I believe I was quiet.) Then Naya Daur, Madhumati, Gunga Jamna, Sangam, Amrapali, Jewel Thief. And all along I never had a clue she was Tamilian.

You should be mindful of how to use words, instead of before she dies, it will sound better, if you write, "before she passes". 😛😁

You remind me of the story of King's two sons. They were wandering incognito in their kingdom and felt thirsty. The eldest boy went and asked one lady : Oh, my father's esteemed wife give me water. The lady slapped him. The younger son went and said: Oh mother please give me water. She happily gave him. They both said the same thing your father's wife is your mother but not every lady is your father's wife. So I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

@@sanjayml645 they are old family friends. What's with a language? All indians want to send their kids to English medium schools, all employers want English speaking skills. English speaking courses are a industry. Even your objection on this thread is in English....so why this hypocrisy? The idea of a language is to communicate. This conversation between Waheeda ji and Twinkle is a beautiful intimate one....what's wrong in it???

@@naheedgk it is a well known fact that in India many individuals has a tendency to judge someone’s intellect by their command of English rather than the knowledge they possess . As you will appreciate , some prominent actors and directors have ridiculed a well known actress in the past for her poor grammar & vocabulary . You are correct in saying English is a universal language & thus it’s widely spoken . In Europe , despite being fluent in English , German and french politicians address global forums in their native language because they are proud to promote it . Unfortunately , over the years we have been inundated with foreign brands & also indoctrinated with western values that it has reached a point whereby the youth of india feels compelled to believe English language is superior to the one spoken by the indigenous . India has produced so many literary giants ( Hindi ) over the years & if surveyed among the young , most would be oblivious of their existence . Balance has to be struck , young are very much in awe of their icons from the movie fraternity & it is paramount these so called ‘ stars ‘ took their responsibility seriously because they make an impact & impression whilst in front of the camera .
