On August 26th and 27th, 2023, Tweetsie Railroad hosted their Railroad Heritage Weekend event with a 1970’s theme in celebration of number 190’s 80th birthday. 190 featured a circular Tweetsie R.R. sign on her front smokebox, a diamond smokestack, her original number plate from the 70’s, and added white walls on her wheels. Number 12 pulled the special Railfan consist with a recreated ET&WNC flatcar and ex-East Broad Top coach 5.
In the evening, 190 would take over for the photo special and replace car 5 with vintage coach 5. This made for a nostalgic photo special like she pulled in the early 2000’s.
