does counterhit increase the damage? im not familiar with counter hit system and how much you take with crouches, but i’d like to learn for alpha, 3rd strike, usf4 and 6

Counter hit increases scaling on your normals,combos,supers, etc and you don’t take additional damage with crouches😊

@@DankestDomain There are no counter hits in third strike. Street fighter didn't have them until sf4.

In 3rd Strike if you hit someone while they are crouching they take an additional 25% or so damage. Hit and block advantage is SOMETIMES more on crouching characters but it's move specific. KZfaq channel AutoMattock has a recent video called "The Lesser Known Facts About 3rd Strike" that breaks these very things down in detail starting around the 6 minute mark. Hope this helps!

It was the game's most damaging super, from the final boss, boosted by being a counter hit. SF3 3rd impact just hits hard.

@@InTheKitchenWristStirFry I mean... As the title suggests 3rd strike is *itself* the third remake of a game, with new characters/content. I'm not saying we shouldn't get more, I'm saying what we actually need is the elusive Street Fighter III: 4th Showdown (working title).

@InTheKitchenWristStirFry I'm sorry if you feel that my comment misinterpreted you, that was not my intention. I merely meant to point out that saying *3rd strike* never received a rerelease with additional content is a bit like saying Ultra Street Fighter 4 never got a rerelease with additional content. At least that's how I feel about it. Also I'm pretty sure the console port of 3S did technically add Gill as a selectable character, which is, in the most literal interpretation, the thing you described. But that's just me being a pedant.
