What if two warriors were travelling, and one had a magical sword the other was envious of. So one day, when the warrior was kneeling at the lake, the other shot an arrow through his head, but since he clutch the sword with his dying breath, he became like a cursed statue. The other warrior couldn't take the sword from his hands. Now the man sits there, eternally waiting for his companion to return to 'continue the fight'

Everybody's thinking about some dark story with cursed sword. Me? I'm a simple guy, it must've been something like: a lone adventurer wanders through the night forest, suddenly he sees a menacing figure holding to a big shiny sword. His instincts force him to crouch, and his habits - take out a bow. In a matter of seconds a cleverly placed arrow was sticking out of knights head. "Who's there?!" roared the enraged giant clad in steel, quickly getting up and arming his sword. After few minutes of scouting the area for his sneaky opponent to no avail, he went to his usual place: "Must've been the wind"

*A young warrior travels through the woods on a journey and sees a faint light through the trees...he follows it and comes upon the pond, and he sees a figure sitting there, dark and terrible. He wonders as to why there is a dragon near his unmoving form...then he realizes the body, the warrior that gives off this dark, deathly aura is watching him. The sword glows slightly brighter and the kneeling form slowly speaks in a deep dark tone* "I have slain innumerable men, and innumerable beasts both real and magical and through it all this sword has been keeping me alive, using me for more blood and gore....always more....always.... I was once as you are now, good and just, with a heart of gold; but this sword has stripped me of that and has corrupted me into a creature, a thing, of great darkness, of war....terrible war.... The dark figure of the warrior, clad in armor that the young warrior was told about as a child in what the adults called tall tales neared him; and the young warrior realized that this was a warrior that was said to have lived 300 years ago and have died 220 years ago....though a body was never found....a warrior said to have made war on armies merely because he was bored.....and this warrior was walking towards him....the dark figure reached out his hand and took the young warrior's in his own and laid in it the sword of dark power...it was as though it was humming to him, beckoning him....and with a slow nod of his helmet, the dark figure turned away, took a deep breath as though a weight had been lifted; and slowly, steadily, walked off into the trees and snow...finding a place to die as would an animal old from age and battle weary.....as the young warrior turned away, he thought* "Destroy it? No...I could do some good with this....that old warrior was merely weak willed. i will not be so weak." *As he walked off in his own direction, he did not realize that he was already heading for the nearest town, with a sense of dark intent...............*

The arrow struck. it was a merely bothersome, no physical pain could compare to the emotional pain that was done to me, the broken anguish of a brothers betrayal had cut me deep in my heart.
