2020年11月18日（水）にJAPAN 7th SINGLE『BETTER』（読み：ベター）をリリース。
普段人がいるはずの場所などに一人ぼっちでいる彼女たちが、そこから自力で抜け出して、みんなが一つでいられる世界に向かうなど、現代を反映したイメージと歌詞に合わせた世界観を表している。
また今回は、「いつも一緒」という思いを込めた、9人一体のパフォーマンスも見どころ。

Reasons why 'BETTER' is one of Twice's best songs: -The aesthetic of this mv is *chef's kiss* -The instrumental is a masterpiece -Addictive choreo -THE OUTFITSSS -Nayeon vocals + center as usual -Jeongyeon screen time and such pretty vocals this time in particular -MOMO'S BEAUTIFUL NATURAL VOICE -Lots of Sana lines and screen time -JIHYO VOCALSSSSS -MINA CENTER TIME -Two whole rap verses for Dahyunie -CHAEYOUNG GOT TWO RAPS + BEAUTIFUL BACKING VOCALS -Tzuyu got loads of screentime to show off her gorgeous visuals + her vocal line in the bridge 2:38 is P E R F E C T -Mina, Momo and Sana got to sing in their native language OVERALL PERFECTION

*Why we love this comeback* -Mina is treated like Main dancer -chaeyoung gets more rap lines -momo sings in lower register which I like -tzuyu got lines tbh more and more and I can’t stop me did her DIRTY -Sana singing chorus and getting lines -dahyun is iconic -JEONGYEON HIT THE HIGH NOTE INSTEAD OF NAYEON AND JIHYO(its not a high note but still) -it doesn’t feel like nayeon and jihyo are overtaking even though they got most lines -Aesthetic -nayeon a visual are out of this world I prefer seeing nayeon in those warm nude colors it suits her so much -jihyo a vocal/visual can we talk abt how she just Did ThAT -the oh la la la la -Chaeyoung and jeongyeon and dahyuns dance improved tremendously like chae used the under dance a lot bait she became way better THEIR EFFORT IS AMZING dahyun did great and jeongyeon center should be more -they look amazing and healthier and happier in other words BETTER🍭

I can't stop meがどツボすぎて、Betterは2.3回目まではあんまりハマれなかったけど、聴いてるうちにまんまとハマって狂ったように聴きまくってる 追記 And... Thank you for all the reactions！😘 This is what I said. ↓ "I Can't Stop Me" was too attractive, and, for me, the inside was toxic. So, when I heard "BETTER" 2.3 times, I couldn't think "Good !!! Great !!! I love you !!!" However, after listening to it several times, I was completely fascinated, and as a result, I continue to listen like crazy now🤪❤ I'm sorry if my English is wrong. Fun fact about sunflowers: they always face towards the sun, so the scene with Mina when the sunflowers turn toward the viewer are like them saying you’re their sun 🥺🖤

What stood out for me: - main dancer here is Mina - two raps in one song - momo’s singing - sana’s chorus - tzuyu getting the bridge - JY’s line distribution in Japanese song and just seeing her since I miss her - NY and jihyo’s never disappointing powerful vocals - dahyun still similing like 😃 And the casual sports wear don’t forget that, they look so comfortable and nice❤️

Can we all please talk about Sanas vocals and Minas dancing more? I feel like both of them don't get to show off these specific talents of theirs enough. Sana slayed those vocals so hard. She kept up with even Jihyo. Mina had the coolest dance in this MV and nailed it.

I agree! she's slowly improving and there's always room for improvement for everyone (this statement is for every group out there). let's have in mind that her specialty is dancing, hence why her vocals aren't the best compared to the main/lead vocalists in the group, yet she is doing her best. I can also tell that she is way more comfortable singing in her native language; Japanese, and it suits her more than Korean in my opinion as we can hear her natural tone here!
