So for the record, among ONCE, MIna is known as "The Queen of Bridges." Also, in "Trouble", Nayeon was the one doing the high-note adlibs in the back after the bridge. Lastly, Chaeyoung wrote "Basics", Jihyo wrote "Trouble", and Dahyun wrote "Gone" and "When we were kids." TWICE members have been writing B-sides for their albums since their "Page Two" album. Welcome to the awesomeness that are TWICE B-sides. 😀

I totally get what you mean. For the longest time, I felt I didn't vibe with Twice's music including a lot of the early title tracks. But then I found the song that really drew me in (Perfect World) and they've had such an evolution in their sound that there really is something for everyone. I definitely recommend Twice's more recent albums if you keep up with this Twice journey. Formula of Love is a major vibe with some of my all time favorite Twice B-sides (FILA, Last Waltz, Espresso) and Taste of Love is extremely high quality summer music (Baby Blue Love for me on that one).

So glad you dove into this despite your busy schedule! Twice’s bsides are where it’s AT. In my opinion, JYP always plays it safe with their titles. My favorite album of theirs is Eyes Wide Open.

I discovered TWICE in May-July of 2022. I fell in love with their debut song LIKE OOH-AHH, and have played catch up ever since. Love a lot of their early stuff and appreciate how their sound has evolved over these 7 years Really hope you come to love them as much as we do, and WELCOME to the ONCE family. I really like the idea TWICE is doing making Chaeyoung and Momo as a duo rapper and Dahyun becoming a vocal. My girl Dahyun has a really Sweat voice and she could shine because of that. Her voice is BEAUTIFUL. ChaengMo they slayed with the raps. I love DubChaeng rap but I see Dahyun more as a vocal her voice suit it. Basics showed us how her soft voice is very usefull

Ugh yes! This is such a great album to react to by them. And yes, you’re right. I was smirking 😂 Twice have amazing b sides. My personal fav album is Eyes Wide Open so I would recommend that after this one. Like this album, a wide versatile sound. But this album is just immaculate. Their newer albums hit different

I think maybe some people were disappointed because in my opinion the title tracks you reacted to by them aren't their strongest. I feel like Feel Special, Fancy, and TT were the songs that really put Twice on the map globally and are really iconic Twice songs. Their earlier title tracks are super catchy and cute (and they were super popular in Korea and Asia), but not exactly my cup of tea as an American listener. That said, you definitely should not be forced into something you're not feeling, so I totally get that. I hope you give some of their other iconic title tracks a chance someday, but no rush :)

The earlier song choices were not aiming for the western audience I think. Two of the members were like just turned 16 when they debuted? So basically half of the group were like underage or just turned 18. But I’m glad that they have so much diversity in music and how versatile the girls are, their growth is crazy :)

I’m so happy you gave a Twice album a listen! I always appreciate how you only do the things you want and in your own time, and it’s lovely to see when you try out new groups or in this case give a group a deeper listen. As someone who hasn’t always been in to Twice, but who has gotten more in to them as time has gone on, I can appreciate that sometimes you don’t always click with a group but grow into them. So I’m happy that you gave them a chance, and I’m glad that you enjoyed it!
