Jessi was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Korea at 15 to start her musical career. In 2009 she returned to the States. She is VERY close friends with Girls Generation's Tiffany and appeared on the variety show Sister Slam Dunk together along with other celebrities wherein they would choose a wish to try to fulfill for each member. Jessi returned to Korea in 2015 and competed in the initial "Unpretty Rapstar" and "Show Me the Money". In 2019 she signed with Psy's label PNation as his first artist (with Dawn and Hyuna shortly after). She was part of the "Baddest female group" The Refund Sisters with Uhm Jung-Hwa(original K-Pop Diva), Lee Hyo-Ri and our girl Hwasa. Formed under Jimmi Yu's(AKA Yu Jae Suk) Original Entertainment label, from his Hanging out with Yoo program. Jessi has really started to shine recently with many appearances on several variety shows including Running man, Sister Slam Dunk and Hanging out with Yoo, also as a regular on The Sixth Sense with Yoo Jae-Suk, Jeon Somin, Na Ra, Mijoo(Lovelyz) and Lee Sang-yeob. honestly, i am getting into the girls themselves. i hadn't really noticed Mina and then i watched her in the time to twice forest video and was stunned. i am not a mina fan, she is the ult bias in twice and maybe outside of the group. there just something so endearing and charming. you can tell there is no ego. she there to work hard and live a nice life.
