This is on PC actually, done with the PCSX2 emulator. It might be possible on PS2 with the help of gameshark codes, but thats super old school and I dont remember how to do it anymore.

Two years late buuuuut, yeah. I like Ven but Roxas is his own character; they should've kept his own sound bites. It also would've helped "differentiate" the two and keep them as individuals.

I liked the mix of his voicelines from 358/2 days but I was confused as to why they mixed Ven's lines as well haha

It’s just plain stupid that they did that especially with the fact Sora sounds older in re:com than kh2 so they’re inconsistently trying to be consistent.

Was confused what you were talking about since his scream here is exactly how I remembered it back on PS2. I went looking and for some reason they replaced it with some much worse scream in the PS3 version of the ReMIX. This version here is the correct original

Naught Meinäm yeah they got rid of his scream and his sounds when fighting which honestly seemed more in character for him in the original but now he just sounds like Ventus in combat and it doesn’t fit lmao

They replaced some of the lines with Ventus's voice (the reason why is beyond me)

I think they kept Ven's clips for Roxas just to save time when porting the game. The HD remixes, especially 2.5, were rushed, remember?

Nadia Sheffield one of? It’s one of the times like with xemnas’ laser storm where it actually acts as part of the fight and makes it more cinematic, it can’t be ignored unlike 90% of the other bosses in which you can just beat them till it’s over.

Nadia Sheffield I’m just saying the whole set up of the reaction command from being restrained in the air to ending it with the strike raid is pretty much the best “reaction command” even though it encompasses more than 1 and acts as a phase in the boss fight. It might be on rails and easy to do but I truly wish more bosses had similar sights and that they would have kept cinematic scenes for important boss fights. It doesn’t feel nearly as cool to fight any other bosses in any other game as they do in 2 simply because of reaction commands. I really hope there are some situation commands in 3 that are “situational” for specific boss fights and act like reaction commands tbh.

Peter Cottantail Xemnas’s is just a button mash fest lol don’t act like that one is difficult it’s a test of patience for sure but it’s really about how cool these two look that make them stand out above, well, basically every other boss in the series. The closest thing to a reaction command in bbs is Vanitas’ final stage and that’s pretty wack sometimes but it still is cool, 0.2 has the move where aqua and Mickey lock the demon tide in with the chains, ddd has some cool reality shifts, but none of these live up to the spectacles that are the twilight thorn and xemnas. They may be easy but they’re so cool just to look at and make you feel good when doing it even if it’s just one press of a button, it’s better to have some cinematics in a fight than none, like fighting Xehanort as Terra? Smack him with the keyblade until the fights over, that’s it?! Underwhelming for sure let’s hope 3 does boss fights some much needed justice since 2.

i like the modern versions more too,but this one is nicer on the feels. its way calmer and reminds me of the time kh was simple(aka before bbs launched).while i view kh2 as one of the worst kh storys,the characters are just the best(especially roxas) in the series too which is kinda strange.also the reason why i just love days storywise,because it moved kh2s characters into a more enjoyable story for me and replaced sora with another character entirely

Yeah they put Ven's voices for Roxas' in the PS4 version. A lot of people's problems with that isn't the voices themselves, but that Roxas' OG voice was perfect for his character. The problem was with putting the voice of someone who wouldn't hurt a fly, into someone who is coarse and resentful, even a little angsty.
