Twin Brothers in Taiwan's Twin Cities

My twin brother and I (along with the beautiful, Dori) visit Taiwan's twin cities: Shifen and Jiufen. In Shifen, I finally put a sky lantern in the air, and run into the son of the host family I stayed with last summer. In Jiufen, we encounter a crush of tourists and get a great seat at Jiufen's most famous teahouse. A wonderful day with two special companions.

A-mei Tea House is SUPPOSEDLY the inspiration for Spirited Away. I'm skeptical, but still a beautiful place worth visiting if you come to Jiufen. Bless them with your presence, but be prepared to wait. maps.app.goo.gl/8zNGk25tRiM37wg38 👻

Just wanted to let you know that I have watched all of your videos so far. I like the way your Taiwan life is unfolding. Very different than most other "foreigner in Taiwan" videos. I think your Mandarin is good enough to add subtitles. if you do, you will get a lot more views.

Thanks, Bob. That means a lot. I have a Kaohsiung video coming up and although you had already left, I admit I thought of your videos as I walked around there. I will take your advice to heart. Laziness is really all that's holding me back from doing that, but I will certainly push myself to do that on an upcoming video. Appreciate your encouragement.

Not only will you reach your biggest audience, it will be good for your vocabulary and character recognition. Do it. Don’t be lazy 😊
